Pros: The proprietor's (wish I'd gotten his name) made the stay very enjoyable. The view was great.
Location: We hiked around Val Gardena. There are stunning hikes to take from the lifts in Santa Cristina!
nice hotel-the proprietor was excellent, and a great cook. Definitely have dinner there (reserve in the morning). I was surprised by the location-guess from the photos I thought it would be in town but it is a 1/3 mile UP hill to get there. Walking up with luggage was not a great arrival (drivers would not have this issue). Our room was small but efficient, had a balcony with a lovely view. The proprietor was very accommodating with great suggestions for hiking.

Surprisingly good stay close to all the action in Val Gardena. Friendly staff and great breakfast, good variety and fresh bread. Excellent service. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. Parking just outside. The hotel is lacking of an elevator. But you can live with it. The rest is just great!

freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Sehr schönes Frühstück. Liegt etwas ausserhalb des Ortskerns, kleiner Fussmarsch zu einem Restaurant nötig (ca. 5 min.)

Het hotel dateert uit begin jaren zeventig en is sindsdien keurig onderhouden. Behalve een wat moeizaam werkend wifi lijkt er sindsdien niet veel luxe meer te zijn toegevoegd. De bediening is vriendelijk.De kamers worden keurig schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt is prima. De afstand (met de auto) naar de skiliften bedraagt slechts 5 minuten.
