Our room was very nice, seemed updated. My only complaint was the pool. Seems to look like mold all along the top edge of the pool. So I wasn’t comfortable with my 4 year old touching the sides

The staff was friendly and polite. The hotel and rooms were recently remodeled. They were clean. The pool is dingy and old. The location is good. The unfortunate thing was that a train goes by several times a night and blows its whistle making it difficult to sleep.well.

Average but good for the area.
Fairly nice hotel for the area however the toilet was leaking. We told them as soon as we noticed it right after check in. They said some one would come. No one ever did. Also we could smell smoke coming from air conditioner. We then realized that the smoke was from the employee smoke area out back. Our third floor back of the hotel room was located right above it. The main bathroom in the lobby area has three stalls by breakfast area. Only two had toilet paper. My kids enjoyed the small but nice indoor pool and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Great hotel
We always stay here when we travel to PA to see family. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are super clean and we enjoy having a keurig coffeemaker in our room. There are plenty of outlets and charging spots available. The windows all have room darkening shades which is nice. There is a free breakfast option every morning, but if you would rather explore the town, the staff is always ready to help you find your way. Checkin/checkout is simple. We won't stay anywhere else. There are train tracks right behind the hotel that you can definitely hear, but i actually enjoy the sound.

I don't typically write reviews but this hotel really didn't meet our lower than normal expectations. We arrived after a late dinner and the woman at the front desk was extremely nice and courteous. In fairness we were attending a PSU game the following morning and we were checking out pretty early (6am) so we only stayed in the room for about 8 hours or so. In terms of cleanliness, there was an empty bottle of vape solution laying next to the little fridge in the room. The toilet had a rust stain running down the back (inside to bowl) and the above the ceiling above the shower seemed to have some water damage and was pretty bubbled. I did read the reviews so I was aware that this particular hotel was located near the train tracks so I expected it to be noisy (which it was BUT wasn't too bad at least for our stay). The one staff member that I interacted with was more than fine and because we weren't staying very long it didn't make much sense voicing our displeasure.
