Great En Route Stop

Was very happy with our stay! Convenient to get to off Hwy as we were passing through. Checkin very easy and the staff member was really helpful outlining our options for meals. We had a family member with an upset stomach and she gave lots of options for chicken noodle soup. In the end we are at the hotel itself and it was great. Nice room. Modern facilities. Enjoyed pool. Only complaint is that all of the pillows were very big. I'm used to a thinner pillow and it would have been nice to have thick and thin options.

GREAT hotel and staff!

We had a late check-in and a quick call to assure reservation was not lost was pleasantly handled and pain free. Each member of the staff greeted us even as we passed in the hall. The maintenance worker whoo was going to do some routine checks in our room upon our departure even asked if we needed help with our luggage. The level of customer service was superior and I ALWAYS LOVE Marriot pillows and linens! Cleanliness superb.

Overall great

Since we checked in until the last second of our staying we enjoyed it very much. The entire staff is very attentive, great installations, small but very complete fitness center. Nice swimming pool. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The only thing that need a bit of attention is breakfast, but, that's ok. I recommend this place in Altoona PA.

Great local food

There was a local restaurant close by named Jethros. It was amazing. Would live to stay at this hotel again and enjoy Jethros again.

Not up to Marriott standards...disappointing

The lobby is amazing. Everything else not so much. Disappointing for a Marriot property. Restaurant never looks open. Light s are always off and nobody behind the counter. Rooms are old and the bayjerooks look even older. Mold on bathroom tub grout. Too bad, Marriott are usually great.
