We never checked in because they never received our reservation from Expedia and they were full. I called Expedia and after multiple chats and being put on hold several times ….. 45 minutes later we still had no room and Expedia said they would “cancel” the reservation. You can not cancel what did not exist. No offer to help us find another place. We found another motel ourselves. Poorly handled Expedia……. Poorly Handled!

My husband & I were staying on the first floor, near the laundry room. The accomodations were very good.The service was very good. Breakfast was good.However, the first night we were awakened by a couple of people arguing in the hall, then in a room, continuing for about 20 minutes. Then the second night there were noices off & on. Quality of sleep was difficult to achieve.

This hotel really needs some updating. It doesn't appear to have been updated since the 1990s. They may also have some staffing issues. I was checked in Saturday around 5:00 by a young guy (teenager?) wearing an interesting tee shirt rather than professional attire. I stood around a while before he sauntered in to attend to me and another guest who appeared to have been waiting before I arrived. The couch in my room was stained and icky-looking. I spread a bath towel over it before I felt comfortable sitting on it. Best thing about the place is the fact that La Fiesta Mexican restaurant is right next door -- a short walk across the parking lot. Nice place, good food at a good price. Hotel was quiet with pleasant outdoor seating that would be a plus when the weather permits.

First night the toilet ran all night. They made me move to another room and there was a dog 2 doors up that constantly barked. The room was very outdated and dingy . They have signs up they are in a renovation . It definitely needs it.

Nice stay in Altoona
I stayed in this hotel with my family on a road trip between Niagara Falls and Northern Virginia. The location was very convenient, next to a strip mall with lots of good restaurants and fast food. The room was clean, check-in was easy, breakfast was fine. Nothing was over the top, everything was just fine and that's exactly what we needed!

The property is nice. It’s in a busy area but the rooms are quiet. I’m very surprised in today’s day and age that places still take a $50 swipe on your credit card for incidentals.
