“Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. “Great house, clean and well appointed with good parking. Absolutely no complaints with the home or the check in process. The issue was its proximity (or lack thereof) to Oxford center or having any cafes or restaurants near by. Its location meant that any foray into Oxford even for good eating options needed you to drive in (it’s a 40 minute walk otherwise) and taking a car into Oxford isn’t a great experience.”
