Rented a room for 3 days and was overwhelmed with the quality of the place and the general kindness of the host. When I arrived late, he called my phone and asked when I would be arriving, and we then touched base later again when I couldn't make it the first day.
We stayed in Rent A Room for 3 days in a 3-4 room (don't remember) apartment off-season, so for the most part we had the entire apartment to our own. Our room was decorated with old-looking paintings, a huge bed, victorian furniture, etc. It was fairly classy for the price. Hardwood floors that creak a little.
Kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, fridge, stove, washing machine, toaster, heating kettle, etc) and everything worked well.
The bathroom was decent, washing machine and tumbledryer, average shower. Nothing fancy.
Location is really good, buses take you right downtown and you can walk to Christiania and the nearest metro stop in about 10min. The neighborhood is a little run down, but there are lots of small stores, convenience stores, and a few cafes. The coffee shop right across the street is recommended.
Recommend this place to anyone looking for cheaper accommodation in Copenhagen and don't want to do a hostel.
