Clean and tidy, but lots of little, irksome things
The property was quite clean and tidy. It was a very short walk to the lido and beach, so that was wonderful. We were on the 5th floor, so the view was also nice. However, there were lots of regulations and "nickel and dime" items that did not seem appropriate. Of course, parking was a fee, but the desk kept our keys, and we had to inform them in advance, if we wanted to take the car out. We gave a deposit (like you do when you rent an apartment in the US). Since we kept the property in good condition, it was returned, but that seemed out of the ordinary. We were scolded for bringing coffee into breakfast, but we were paying for the breakfast, regardless of whether we drank their coffee or not. Note that breakfast was NOT included as it was in two other properties we booked in Southern Italy. We also were told we had to borrow towels for the beach from the front desk (and they had a tracking system so we'd be charged if we did not return them to the lobby), but the hotel did not have their beach open and never even informed us of this when we picked up the towels. So, lots of small things that made our overall stay not as great as it certainly could have been.

Staying here was a wonderful experience, the apartment was lovely and perfect location. The staff person who checked us in was absolutely wonderful and accomdating. We didn't want to leave.

Nice property, well located. Very good for families because of the full fridge, kitchenette and pool which is a rare commodity when the loungers at the beach are 40 euros!!! Clean, spacious and close walking distance to everything. Very big balcony! The breakfast is fabulous in panorama hotel with a breathtaking view of Ravello and a castle! Our air conditioning was working perfectly. The cons: no sea view, staff friendly but speak limited English and there is a piano school next to it with open windows and you hear a mix of pianos playing that makes it sound like an old movie of Dracula! Lol very annoying when you are relaxing on your balcony or the pool. Also you must know that because it is considered a residence, you must buy your own toilet paper, take out your own garbage and no cleaning lady will come for all your stay (in our case 13 days). But overall a good stay! If you do not mind no sea view, I recommend it!

I was worried about some of the negative reviews about the air conditioning and the comfort of the beds. The AC did not work when we arrived but maintenance came twice the next day and then worked great. The beds didn't look comfortable but I had not problem with discomfort or back pain so they were fine.

No wifi. Poor service and Expensive Parking.
We stayed for 1 week but they only provided 1 toilet paper and 2 small bottles of body wash which was good for 2 days. The serviced apartment only provides for the 1st day regardless if you are staying 1 day or 1 week. However, supermarket is 5 min walk so it was manageable. However, the big issue was Wifi. We complained from the start of our stay and the next days that there was no wifi as we booked it with wifi as we need it for remote work. We ended up purchasing roaming data. Lastly parking was too expensive. They should provide it free for their guests. Overall the price was too much for the service and quality.

Didn’t take AMEX. Keys didn’t work. Rude staff, wouldn’t return security deposit until someone checked the unit- no trust. Second credit card didn’t work so had to get cash for security deposit. Extremely frustrating and awkward. Staff had bad attitude. Check in and check out procedures slow and extremely disrespectful of tourist dollars being spent in Italy.

Great stay!
Checking in at the nearby Hotel Panorama was easy and the staff were really friendly. Apartment was spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower. Being back from the road is good as it’s quieter, but still very close to everything. The pool was nice if bracing!

PROS: Great location, not too far from the beach. Rooms are spacious and beds are confortable. Staff is responsive, they send you the repair man quickly. CONS: They were unable to fix the A.C. the first night and it broke again on the third night. It was very difficult to sleep with the summer heat 2 nights out of 3 while we were there. The shower drain was completely blocked when we arrived but they took care of it the next day after 1 hour of hard work. WIFI was really bad in my unit; very slow and always cutting-off. NO microwave (please remove it from your amenities). No beach towels.

This is a typical hotel room (we got the biggest room) with hard beds and a very lumpy sofa bed. That said, it was super clean and good location and had parking (for 20euros a day). The kitchen was well equipped and the air con worked great. Nice big balconies that all overlook the pool. Suite was noisy with noisy neighbours (not the fault of the hotel). But I didn’t like they didn’t give you anymore toilet paper than the one you got in your room when you came (confirmed with front desk they told me to go buy some), and they take a 100euro deposit that they will keep if you break any dishes, don’t take your own garbage out, etc. (And make you sign a contract) I thought that was super tacky. Overall I would stay again and my rating reflects it.

The place was a bit more worn down than expected but it was very clean. Laundry was coin-op on site. The pool was nice to have as an option away from the sea, it was kept up nice, for children under a certain height unless they can swim, no supervision on site. The deck was a wonder to have but we’re mainly looking at the pool and the back of a building. There was a bit of hill side view as well from there to the side. Parking was super helpful to have BUT a bit confusing to someone who speaks English. We were trapped in a parking lot we thought was the parking but they were helpful to send a staff and try get us out, it’s a bit of a maze, Angelina is the one way at the back by the hill off the main road.

Great choice steps to beach
Very happy with our stay. Super spacious,clean apartment, bedroom had one double AND one single bed, living area had one dble sofa bed. It was 4 of us, grampa, 20 yr old son, and mom, dad. Almost full kitchen (no micro or coffee maker) but big fridge, gas stove, pots,plates, cups, glasses, all. Absolutely have breakfast at sister hotel Panorama rootop terrace nearby, only 7 euro pp, great choices, it was 28 euro for all 4 of us, as opposed to almost 70 euro for 4 at nearby Tony's restaurant (they charged me 7 euro for one soft boiled eggs)

We had a lovely stay at Angelina residence - apartment was so spacious and clean. Apartment had everything you needed, along with a fabulous pool are. Location was brilliant - only a 5minute walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend!!
This was a FANTASTIC place to stay on holiday for our family of six! It's just a block from the beach, and indeed, Maiori is a flat, family friendly town. The pool is large, the lifeguard was very nice. [Must wear swim caps in pools in Italy] The apartment we stayed in was very clean and spacious. I can't speak for the other rooms, but our mattress could use some updating, it was too hard. Very nice staff working at this hotel/apartment. You can walk everywhere in this town from the hotel. Absolutely recommend!

Great place! within walking distance to anything! Many of places to eat and drink right on the water. The rooms worked out perfect, big enough to fit three comfortably. Staff was welcoming upon arrival, helped with our luggage and showed us around our apartment. I would recommend your stay!

Staying in Maiori was a great option when the Amalfi Coast can get so expensive. Angelina Residence was just a couple minutes walk to the beach and local bus stops. We really enjoyed our stay there, and it was great having the option to do laundry.

We didn"t see a cleaner all week so no fresh sheets or towels. I had to ask for toilet roll. It would have been good to have even the offer of a quick clean and fresh sheets and towels etc. I asked for pool views for both apartments and they obliged which was good. An ironing board, iron and clothes drying rack would have been good. Had to hang everything on the balcony rail and chairs.

Angelina Residence Maiori
Super clean, very good location. We were able to walk to were we wanted to go in Maiori. Parking is a bit expensive. Wifi wasn't very fast, range was limited, it worked better near bedroom, not as good in family room, very poor on balcony. Wonderful pool, hours need to be extended to at least 8pm. Overall fun, relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff where super nice, helpful and accommodating! Thank you!
