Special treatPosted May 22, 2013
Pros: The views, the garden, the breakfasts, the pool
Cons: The bar let the hotel down. It was dowdy and therefore was unused. it needs a re-style
Great hotel for a special treat.Staff were all welcoming and genuinely wanted to please. The reataurant in the evening was good but too expensive - we preferred the restaurant at Villa Cimbrone which has a michelin star and was half the price.

Faultless. Money-no-object approach essential.Posted May 20, 2012
Remarkable hotel. Not the usual sort of place we go to. Three nights for Wedding Anniversary. Upgrade from sea view to junior suite. Idyllic. Unbelievable views. Very lucky with weather, as quite wet a few weeks ago. Pool and bar wonderful. Poolside pizzas about the best we've had anywhere in the world. Everyone seemed to know our names. Strongly advise hiring cabriolet at Naples if you're confident with Italian-style driving, to do the coast road. May was perfect month for the lemons and strawberries. Friendly bar and dining room. Dinners very good, but perhaps a little ambitious at times. Breakfasts great. Everyone loves the boat trip.
