Great location but staff were difficultPosted Sep 29, 2015
The hotel is in a fantastic location and the view from our first room was fantastic. Facilities are quite dated and parking was an issue as the car was taken offsite but not available for an early morning collection as we had a tour booked that required the car to get to. The staff could not appreciate the situation and i was required to resolve myself. The Internet was only accessible from the lobby.

Great views and facilities. Long walk to the beachPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: View, Staff, Swimming Pool, Large comfy bed and good bathroom
Cons: Hotel could do with a make over, looking very tired in places.
Location: Location is at the top of the hill, which is excellent for views, but not for walking to the beach. Circular bus at 1 Euro 50 is a perfect solution.
We found the hotel to be excellent, from the staff on duty, to the amazing view from our room to the brilliant swimming pool. Our room was spacious and clean, however a little dated and the sofa/sofabed was in poor condition. The bed was large and comfortable, the shower warm and powerful. Plenty of storage too. Air conditioning was a most welcome. The swimming pool had lots of sunbeds, was nice and clean and very well looked after. Breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. Obviously as the hotel is at the very top of the hill, walking to the beach is a long and steep experience, but a cheap circular bus sorts that. We had a wonderful few days and enjoyed our stay there very much.

Lovely position on the hillsidePosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: The view and the pool and balcony with live music every night.
Cons: Shabby corridors.
Location: Great location with buses either way to Amalfi or Sorrento.
Loved Positano and the position of the hotel. Staff were helpful. Inside of hotel a bit shabby along corridors but was outweighed by wonderful pool.

Nice and comfortable hotel with a decent breakfastPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: If the rooms were a bit more soundproof
Location: There are several stores nearby, as well as nice restaurants on the way to the beach/town.
I thought the hotel was decent. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was good with enough variety. It was one of not many places in Positano that has a pool, so you could cool off there. Patio was nice and you could relax there during diner. The only thing I didnt like is that it was a bit further than I would like to be to the town. About 15 minutes walk. The rooms were not sound proof either, that was another setback.

Nice views, nice staff, terrible accommodations!Posted Aug 3, 2015
Not a four star. I will give it a one star because the staff are nice but don't have anything else positive about it!

OverpricedPosted Jul 11, 2015
Overpriced, tired, room was ugly. The amenities were poor, No bath, a fridge but with only 2 bottles of water which didn't get replaced for 3 nights. There was an ugly table and chairs and sofa bed in the room. Breakfast was a total shambles and the hotel was like a maze. the bed was comfortable and the balcony had a good view but overall I think I would have preferred to stay in s B&B.

A Gem in the RoughPosted Jul 1, 2015 on Hotels
We had an absolutely GLORIOUS VIEW of Positano from our large balcony. This hotel (along with every other business and residence in the entire area) is built on a craggy mountainside. It therefore conforms to the contours of the land it shares - causing a most unique building construction challenge. This hotel meanders and its hallways lead all aver the place. It takes a while to get your bearings. The location is above the hustle and bustle of Positano (which gives the hotel guests a pretty cool view of the world below. The hotel is worn, but we were well taken care of and served. The staff helped us numerous times and were courteous. There is a bus stop just up the hill around the corner which leads everywhere near and far. There was a reasonably gifted band playing by the pool nightly, and breakfast was quite a pageant well choreographed. I would absolutely consider staying here again without regard to the age of the hotel. Actually, with a little love and attention, this could be a really great hotel!

Dirty and gross. Too far from town.Posted Jun 27, 2015
Not what I expected. It is NOT a 4 star hotel. The pictures looked far better than the hotel was in real life.

Flott hotell med nydelig utsikt over Positano. God frokost. Kun internett i resepsjon og ved bassenget.
