Gorgeous view, super friendly staffPosted Jul 31, 2015
Location: Make sure you visit the beach Fiordi di Furore, as there is no street parking to the beach the hotel is ideal. It's a 600 step descent but worth it!!
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and we loved it. We had a balcony overlooking the sea which was gorgeous, the staff were great and very welcoming.

Breathtaking View!!!Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, nice decor, beautiful scenery and great food. Pino and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay terrific!
Cons: I really can't think of anything that needs improvement. We missed the sign for the hotel twice. It was hard to see from the bus, at least for us.
Location: I want to return to this hotel and location, as there is so much to do (swimming, shopping, sightseeing…an authentic Italian experience!!!)
We (my daughter & I - mother/daughter trip) arrived in Amalfi after taking a train, cab and two ferries. We then boarded a bus that took us up to our hotel. We missed our stop and were fortunate to meet a man who spoke English. He called our hotel and within minutes, Pino, the owner of the hotel, picked us up and brought us to his beautiful hotel. We were greeted by his wonderful staff. We did have to go down a few flights of stairs, but I enjoyed the exercise. There may be rooms that avoid steps, but I didn't ask. When we got to our room, we went out on a small terrace that overlooked the ocean. Words cannot adequately describe the beauty. That evening we dined in Pino's outdoor restaurant (there is also an indoor restaurant). Across from the restaurant was a view of another cliff with street lights that lit up the rock formations. Both my daughter and I agreed that the food was the best we had ever had and I grew up in NYC having gone to excellent Italian restaurants. We ate at Pino's both nights of our stay. The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast (included) and since we did not have a car, Pino drove us to a bus location that is closer to the town. The day we were leaving, we felt that we didn't have time for breakfast since we had to catch a ferry, but Pino insisted that we eat and that he could get us to the bus on time, which he did! In just two days, we felt like Pino and his staff were old friends, even like family!

Nice View! Great value for money!Posted Jun 7, 2015 on Hotels
well we were here for one night after travling from salerno, the view is very nice - and its even more crazy if you go up to the small town. This is suitable if you are travling by car. Fino was very nice to us, this is more a B&B than a hotel, but if this is what you are looking for - you will love it. great value for money - Breakfest was great, view was very nice. Wifi was great! thanks for a nice stay fino!

An incredible little hotel.Posted Jun 6, 2015 on Hotels
A rambling complex of rooms on a cliff side. Pictures don't do it justice. Facilities are clean and charming, everything worked. It looks like every room has a great view, we had a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was amazing, and all the dinners we had there as well. The owner is friendly and helpful. We drove a rental but there were other guests who got there by other means. It looks like it is close to the water but the altitude is deceptive. It took us 1/2 hour to drive down to Amalfi, though part of it was to stop and get pictures.

Schön gelegen, mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer.Posted Jun 1, 2015
