Excellent location in Ravello
Hotel Giordano was certainly a traditional hotel which differed from our previous accommodation. We were warmly welcomed and treated well with any request. I thought the room would be noisy (it was right behind the elevator) but in truth we slept well. Ravello is a pricey area so don't expect Hotel Giordano to be cheap but at least their service matches the price. We would happily stay here again if we return.

Beautiful Ravello
In the heart of Ravello, a truly beautiful spot on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is quiet, older, expensive but a quality place and time well spent. if you are ok with the price you will be very happy here. The staff is great.

Overall a great choicce for Ravello. Pros: The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool area is lovely with a bar that opens in the afternoons for drinks and snacks. Hotel Giordao is located just off the central square and walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included and there is a nice choice of pastries and savory food. Cons: There is no view from the hotel other than of the pool. Some Ravello hotels have views of the sea to die for. The furniture is dated, but has charm. The breakfast staff is not very attentive and one lady seemed annoyed at my requests for coffee. Overall lovely and I would return.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, but may want to specify where to buy bus tickets when recommending it for travel. Grounds are beautiful. Our room was very tiny and the shower is claustrophobic, but it got the job done. We had a cute terrace. Close to everything you need in ravello.

I had a pleasant stay. From check-in until I checked-out, and anything i need in between including transportation and places to visit. Their breakfast was sooooo goood and so fresh. It wasn’t the ordinary continental breakfast. Everyone was very nice. Definitely worth staying.

This property was stunning! It was clean, had incredible views, close to the square, shopping and dining! What made it the best was Selinda, at the front desk. She was so friendly, helpful and kind. Ravello was stunning! Thanks for having such a beautiful place for us to vacation!

I’ve got 2 parts to this, the hotel and the town itself. The hotel - 1st impressions are good as you approach. The staff were welcoming on reception (Giuseppe especially) and quickly settled us into the room, issued pool towel tokens and explained the ins and outs. The hotel put on a good breakfast spread, made a decent cappuccino and was a pleasant place to stay, the pool area being nice and relaxing in the Italian sun. Location wise it was near all Ravello has to offer, easily exportable on foot. My main hotel criticism is the noise from other rooms, where you can literally hear everything, including all toilet bodily functions. I did not get a decent sleep once. The air con was great though to keep the place cool, the beds were comfy but out shower was very small and I, not a large man, had trouble getting a decent wash. But the noise from other rooms was off putting and woke me up on quite a few occasion. The town itself - beautiful. Ravello is a fantastic place to forget the world, and forget you will. Be aware, restaurants need to be pre booed, and the public bus from Amalfi is a pain. On arrival with suitcases, we missed 2 due to people pushing in the queue, and as it’s a mini bus size space is limited. Oh the afternoon heat it was quite stressful to get to the hotel. They are meant to run every 30 mins or so but you cannot rely on them, and a taxi is €100. The town is nearly 400 metres up a mountain. Don’t let this put you off, be aware, I’d pre book a taxi

First of all let me just say, the property is stunning. Beautiful garden's, beautiful location and the pool is very lovely. I do feel the management could make some minor adjustments to make this a fantastic venue though. First of all, the signs everywhere make the place feel cheap and stingy, everywhere you look there is some sign saying please be quiet, dont put makeup on the towels, etc etc whilst i understand the need to be respectful it really takes away from the beautiful vibe of ravello. Secondly the cleanliness is not as good as it could be. The shower had a bit of mold and the soaps provided are fixed into the wall which made me question how old the soap cannister is before they replace it? In my room it had about 30 percent of the soap left and its not a great feeling sharind soap with other guests.

Best service we experienced during our two weeks traveling in Italy. Fantastic location. We also stayed in an iconic 5-star hotel in Ravello during our trip but Hotel Giordano was WAY BETTER in every way. Highly recommend!

Hotel Giordano is so beautiful, just like the people who work there and the town in which it is located. Ravello is so lovely, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel staff were so friendly, we felt like we knew them for a long time even though we only stayed a couple of days.

We loved Ravello and this hotel was a great launch pad to explore the Amalfi Cost. Rooms were comfortable, wonderfully appointed, and with all amenities you wanted. Both of ours (we were with family) had terraces - one over pool and one over hillside. Right in middle of historic center. Staff and service top notch on all points— rooms, pool, breakfasts, hiking tips. We ate one evening at the terrace of the sister restaurant- Villa Maria. Be sure to get front to make you a reservation so you have a great view. Tip: The hotel offers parking, so be sure to reserve that when you book. Then leave the car. Use your feet and the great bus service throughout.

This hotel is a perfect choice for a stay in Ravello. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and helpful. Both Guiseppe, one of the people who helped us throughout our stay, and his colleagues directed us with wonderful tips on where to go and what to see. He made us dinner reservations and made suggestions throughout. The pool is so beautiful and a wonderful escape from the hot Italian summer day. The view from the pool is indescribable. It is magnificent. Our room was just as pictured. Everything was sparkling clean as well. The hotel is a sister property to another hotel, Villa Maria, which also has a lovely restaurant. We did not have an opportunity to eat there however. The hotel is also just steps from the main villas and gardens and from the arch that leads you into the piazza. There are no cars allowed in the city center so the hotel arranged for our luggage to be brought to and from where we would ultimately meet our driver. This hotel is definitely every bit as fabulous as some that cost 2 times the price, If not better. You MUST visit Ravello and I highly recommend you stay here.

The staff overall is great, just dont be surprised if the night desk person is snoring on the lobby couches and unable to assist you in his dream state. The price is really high for what you get. You are paying to be close to the center of town with a lackluster view, otherwise it's a bit of a waste. The beds are hard as rocks, we spent the first night with a broken air conditioner in a hot and humid time and the next two nights going back and forth to the desk to have them reset it after it was repaired. At the price, they shouldve given us a new room or done something to make it right. The floors are beautiful but they do amplify any noise. However, even with that, most of the staff was really very nice and helpful. The location is convenient. The breakfast is simple but good. The man in the white coat smiled and said good morning to us every day, which seems to be in conflict with other reviews we have seen. I would not stay here again though. Better deals, with better accommodations available everywhere.

Great location with ample parking which is quite rare in ravello. The staff at the reception was very helpful, i forgot to ask his name :( we were checking out early and he offered to make us a packed breakfast which was ready to be picked up on our departure. Nice welcome drink at the bottega :)

The Hotel is very close to the Dumo square and is within easy reach, lovley pool but does not open until 10am which is late if you want to have a swim before breakfast, traditional decor but we found the storage facilitis inadequate both in the bedroom and bathroom

Ravello is just the best location for an Amalfi coast stay. Lovely village with the most amazing view ls. Hotel Giordano is right in the center. Good service and nice pool to lounge by in between walks around.

We stayed here overnight in an Amalfi Coast tour. This Hotel is absolutely Beautiful with lovely clean rooms, welcoming staff, beautiful pool and Bar area and less than 2 minutes walk to the main square in Ravello. We would recommend this class Hotel to everyone

Wonderful wonderful stay. Central location amazing pool and breakfast has to be seen to be believed. A fairytale and would recommend staying in Ravello which is quiet at night rather than down by the sea. Having a pool more than compensates. Best stay in Italy by a mile.
