Moon over PositanoPosted May 17, 2017
Pros: Beautiful views and friendly staff! Yummy breakfasts!
Cons: More pillow options. Heated pool.
Location: Great restaurants, lots of shopping, easy scooter rental - more challenging local driving though, so take care.
We found Positano and Hotel Posa Posa to be a great central location for both town itself, as well as the Amalfi Coast experience.

Pretty hotel , great viewsPosted May 10, 2017
Staff very helpful. Enjoyed dinner prepared fresh by Gusepi, maitre de and chef. Nice room , beautiful terrace. Views from our terrace and restaurant what you see in brochures. Parking nearby for 20 euros. To walk back from town you need good legs, but very doable ( or take bus).

Great location, amazing view, service with a smilePosted Apr 13, 2017
Our two-day stay at Hotel Posa Posa was the highlight of our two-week honeymoon in Italy! Maria at reception greeted us warmly on arrival and upgraded us to a room with a beautiful, huge terrace. Giuseppe, the maitre'd in the restaurant above, was also so welcoming, telling us we could have "anything we'd like". He'd wave to us from the restaurant while we were on our terrace below and he brought coffee to us. Breakfast was also lovely, and wifi reliable. Highly recommend! Also, try Max's restaurant for the best dinner of your life!

Good Location.Posted Apr 8, 2017
Pros: Locality and buffet breakfast were good. The Maitre'de was amazing great English and very helpful with navigating the town. Local staicases ;)
Cons: Just needs a good tidy up and some new decor. The pool area is somewhat lacking.
Location: The restaraunt is quite good and it has a good solarium. Nearby is Ristorante Saranceno D'oro and it is amazing.
Hotel Posa Posa is a nice little hotel in a good spot on the road into Positano town. It is farely dated and needs a little tlc, with that in mind its also very well priced has an amazing view and puts on a great breakfast.

The views from our room were fantastic!Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: We were treated so well, graciously, & given a complimentary upgrade.(Note, we did go during off season, November.) The front desk staff was professional, friendly, & helpful. Our room was very spacious, clean, modern amenities, & the view from our terrace was amazing- both the town of Positano & the sea. (Get the sea view room- it's worth the extra bucks & part of why you came here!) The complimentary buffet also had the great view on the terrace, if you chose to sit outside. And the food was excellent for breakfast. We did eat dinner 1 night at the hotel; it was good, a bit overpriced, especially with the 'added charges'. We did say something, though these charges are apparently added everywhere for tourists, so be aware!! When we balked at the surcharge for seating; we were the only customers & when we left there were only 2 other tables in the entire restaurant; that charge was removed. There is an additional surcharge for bread & water- Americans are Not used to this! And these charges do add up to a lot of money quickly. This made us feel that we would dine elsewhere the following night. The hotel is convenient to the bus line, both to go into town & to continue on our journey of Italy. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
Cons: Don't charge surcharges at restaurant, as it turns Americans off. It made us feel we were being ripped off. Even tough it appears common all over Italy, we were already paying guests. Just because customers don't mention it, doesn't mean they aren't feeling that way.
Location: Town is an easy walk. Journey past the public beach for even better views of the sea.

Comfy, friendly, well located hotel, great views!Posted Nov 6, 2016 on Hotels
Great family style resort, with a room for four and excellent ocean views of the amalfi coast! Friendly staff, Julio, Maria, Giuseppe, and waiters at breakfast were all very helpful and accommodating. Giuseppe was especially amazing with making us a wonderful dinner the day we got there and very considerate and helpful with other requests over the course of the week that we stayed there. Breakfast was included and good and they were accommodating by making us omelettes and scrambled eggs which were not part of the breakfast buffet (they did have boiled eggs everyday which was wonderful). The bus stop was right outside the hotel which really helped us since you need to take the local bus to get anywhere in positano or any other town on the amalfi coast. We went in the last week of October and early November and the rates are quite reasonable. The only area for improvement would be updating the hotel since it did feel a bit outdated. Also a coffee/tea maker in the room would have been very helpful especially for a week long stay like ours. But all in all great stay at Posa Posa!

Great view and location.Posted Oct 6, 2016
Pros: Comfortable. Great view and great location. 15 min walk thru town down to beach/port area. Or bus stop right outside. Great hotel for the price.
Cons: Room cleanliness could use improvement but overall clean. I wouldnt make it a big deal
Location: Nearby to everything via walk or bus
