Great location and view of the beach.Posted Sep 30, 2015
The location and view is great! Rooms appeared to be recently renovated and overall the hotel was clean. Breakfast included and shuttle up and down the hills were both very nice benefits for staying at this hotel! If we ever make it back to positano we will definitely stay here again!

Nice clean hotel with nice locationPosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: Staff and food
Cons: Decor and sound proofing
Location: Was at the top but very easy access to the beach via stairs and road. Courtesy bus was available also. Great views of town and beaches.
Great hotel but very noisy when I was in my room with footsteps ubove and hallways. Pool should be open later than 6pm. Staff was great and very welcoming. Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Great location and wonderful views of town and sea. Bit disappointed with view from my room as I booked about one year ahead and asked for sea view room an didn't get it. I believe the hotel is going to re renovated into a more modem look but overall I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely hotel with amazing views of the coast.Posted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Location was ideal for us because it's a bit above the 'busy' part of Positano. Traditional, yet stylish.
Cons: Rooms are fairly small, but that's just the space limitations of the Amalfi coast.
Location: Plenty of restaurants near by, albeit everything in Positano is expensive.
This is a lovely traditional yet stylish hotel with amazing views of the Amalfi coast. Location was ideal for us because it's a bit above the 'busy' part of Positano. We tried the restaurant the first night and found it to be excellent. Michelin Star potential. Staff were always super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly hotelPosted Sep 8, 2015
We stayed here for our 30th birthday and we were so spoilt! The hotel staff were so accommodating & couldn't do more for us. We recommend the hotel for dinner one night as a treat delicious food & views. They have a shuttle bus that takes you up & down from the beach which is very useful so don't be put off that it's towards the top of Positano because the views are amazing! The only problem was the space at the pool side but we just sat in the pool or had a drink until a sun lounger became available & we didn't end up waiting long. Would highly recommend this hotel we had the best time. Thank you to Hotel Villa Franca!

Nice hotel - excellent staffPosted Sep 7, 2015
Location: Positano is a lovely destination
Nice hotel with great views although a little expensive and not good value for money it was only the staff made the experience great and they were very professional and attentive. The problem was the room no 79 unfortunately it was in the annex with half a sea view not as advertised. The shower was not positioned correctly which meant you had to lean on the wall to get under it and the water followed on to the floor which meant paddling while getting ready and the air conditioning only had 2 setting off or 18 degrees so we over heated or froze to death, we did complained 5 times but they could not get it right. . Positano is a lovely destination and the experience was magical just make sure if you book this hotel you insist on the main hotel and sea view guaranteed. JW

Great hotel in PositanoPosted Sep 3, 2015
The hotel was overall a great hotel. The rooms are a little outdated. Staff was friendly. The weird thing was about this hotel is that several times a day the power would go out. The rooms were very clean which was a plus and the pool was awesome in the hot summer days.

Beautiful Positano HotelPosted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: The location & beatifully decorated decor
Location: Positano beach & shopping. Great restaurants, it is highly recommended walking to find nice traditional Positano restaurant on the roadside.
Villa Franca is a beautifully situated 5 star boutique hotel atop of Positano. We visited Positano to relax & enjoy the beautiful seaside & where not disappointed. Andru & all the staff where friendly & made our stay one that we are keen to do again in the very near future.

Fabulous viewsPosted Jul 22, 2015
This is a beautiful hotel with spectacular views and a lovely pool area for relaxing and lunch. However it is quite a long walk or a huge number of steps to the beach. Or a shuttle every half an hour. No big deal just be prepared!
