A room with a VIEWPosted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Everything except the stairs.
Cons: Make some sort of ramp to get visitors suitcases down to their rooms. The dinner offered by the owner was nice but expensive for what it was.
Location: Lots of restaurants & shops within 15-20 mins walk by road or by day you can take a water taxi for 5 Euro pp to Positano. 300+ steps to prvt beach
Our room was spacious, cannot recommend to anyone with bad knees as the steps from our room to the beach was 300 plus. The location was awesome only about 20 minute walk to Positano via the winding road. The D'Arienzo Beach Club Restaurant which was situated at the bottom of our steps was brilliant and the cheap rental of beach beds made for beautiful days. The view from our bedroom window as perfect with our own private verandah and two sun beds.

Beautiful view and delicious breakfastPosted Aug 2, 2015
Lovely room with great view, however very firm mattress. Breakfast was great. Steps to and from the beautiful little beach keep you fit. Great place to stay a little way out of Positano.

Italy 2015Posted Jul 9, 2015 on Hotels
The owner was amazing, he couldn't have done enough for us, from getting us drivers to drive the Almalfi, to having shuttles pick us for dinner, making us expresso, anything we needed or wanted, even a great bottle of wine. His gardens were beautiful, his staff was amazing, and the view was priceless. We would be very grateful to go back....

Will definitely return.Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
It was pretty spectacular. Felix was very hospitable and friendly. The views from the room were outstanding. The access to the beach was such a bonus. The walk to town is about 10 minutes. An easy walk aside from the narrow road and passing cars. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. The room was a little on the small side but for the price and location, it was a great deal. And we didn't spend much time in the room.

Hotel cómodo y limpio.Posted Jul 2, 2015

Oasis from the bustle of tourist town!Posted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
We loved everything about this place. It has direct access to the best beach in Positano (Arienzo is way less touristy and therefore much more enjoyable than Grande or Fornillo),and is just far enough out of the center of town so as to give you an oasis from all the tourists and shops and restaurants. Just about a 10 minute walk on the upper road took you into town, but other than dinner, my husband and I mostly stayed on the beach or enjoyed the view from the terrace outside our room. Also, breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Thanks Felix! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Loved it ! Just gotta find it !Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels
Loved this place once we found it ! Room was extremely simple- but to walk out of your room onto your own little terrace, under trees, looking out over the ocean-it was one of the best places on our trip. The gentleman who seemed to run the place- is a chef so he offered to cook us up something if we wanted, on Christmas eve, since most everything else was pretty much closed. Immaculate grounds, on several terraces and terrific breakfast. Eating breakfast outside on the terrace, in the sun,in a tshirt on Dec. 26- with THAT view - it doesn't get much better for a Canadian prairie person! Wished we could have stayed for a week !
