Cons: Do not force non smokers to stay in smoking rooms or refund their money if another room is not available
Location: Was just passing through
I booked a non smoking room through Expedia. Upon discovering I had been assigned a smoking room, I requested to be moved to a nonsmoking room. I was told Expedia had booked a smoking room and that there was nothing they could do because the hotel was full. The smell in the room was just horrible. We suffered through the night and left as early as possible the next morning.

Run down hotel

Staff was great, BUT fixes in wall covered over in different color paint, hair drier didn't work, strong smoke smell (in our smoke free room) unless we left the bathroom fan on, WiFi was spotty, did not always have TV reception, stains on the chairs.

The hotel with all smoking rooms

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Get better air flow in the halls And rooms to everyone smokes
The worst stay ever I think their was a smoking event going on lol. We are non smokers and after we booked the room we were told all rooms were for smokers. The hotel stinks really bad full of smoke. Would never stay their again or recommend to anyone.

Old and too much light

The drapes were terrible. They let the sun in...therefore when the sun came up we were awake. The chair to the desk was very uncomfortable. We would never stay there again.

Mattresses were completely worn out and provided no support. The bedspreads also had cigarette burn holes in them.

This facility is in safe and well lit location just off of I-40. I was comfortable spending a night here and will probably do so again..

Remodel rooms haven't happened on the 5th floor...

Our room looked nothing like the pictures. I guess they are still remodeling, because our room was retro 1980's. When we first walked in, we immediately went to the window. Thinking it needed to be closed, because the highway traffic noise was so loud. It was shut. Just really old thin windows.Make sure you get an odd number room. Away from the highway. We never did get the A/C to work. We were too tired to argue or move rooms. Breakfast was good. Lacking a few requests from other guests for yogurt or fruit. Waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, and biscuits and gravy were available. Also with Raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes and oatmeal. Coffee, hot tea and orange juice were also offered. Attendants kept food warmers filled, but we're slow to clean tables properly. Attendants were very friendly greeting everyone coming to breakfast.

Sad situation.

Front desk guy more interested in instructing clerk than in getting us checked in. Late night, we just wanted our rooms. He instructed another guy to go check to make sure our rooms were ready. This was Oscar, and he deserves a raise and an award for great customer service. Beds were so-so, road noise a big problem. Room amenities...1 cup, 1 bar of soap, no sugar or creamer with coffee pot. Some electrical outlets did not appear to work. Empty beer box in hall way when we woke up, kind of a sad situation.
