When we arrived our room had a ladder in it and the thermostat was off of the wall it was obvious they were working on it and not ready for guests. The front desk got us another room but was not apologetic about it. The new room was nice but the bathroom floor was not swept and the nightstand was dirty. The spa was broken and the pool said closed but informed us after asking that we could swim they just don’t turn the sign over! Overall I would stay again but wish they were a little more friendly and things worked better.

The mattress on the bed has a crease in the middle of the bed therefore when 2 people sleep on it, you roll to the middle. Ugh!! The mini frig is super loud so we unplugged it. The tub doesn't drain well while showering.

Overall, like the property and staff. We did have an issue with the room’s cleanliness. The carpet and bed and room area seemed clean. However, the tile floor in the entryway and in the bathroom were dirty and appeared to not have been swept in a few days. Dust and a piece of Cheetos were behind the hall door in the entryway, and a lot of hair was on the bathroom floor along with other small pieces of debris. Also the toilet had not been cleaned from the previous guest, it was soiled and had not been flushed with the rim also being dirty. Hopefully this was just an oversight by the cleaning staff, and not a true indicator of the room’s overall cleanliness. We also found items left by someone else that were in the microwave area.

This location is perfect to go to Palo Duro Canyon and Caprock Canyon locations. Have stayed here before and enjoyed the stay this time!

This was just an overnight stay. The room was large, clean and the bed comfortable. I will definitely make this my "go to" stop from Colorado to Texas from now on. As a female traveling alone, I felt quite safe staying here. A very welcoming hotel

Weekend family visit
Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and upbeat. Just wish the pool and hot tub had been functional. Will stay again as it is close to so many things but far enough out that noise wasn't really a problem.
