Everything was fine except the construction

The staff was very nice on checking in, but I was not told directly that the fitness room was closed for construction, and only found out searching the lobby. Upon taking a look outside, it turned out the fitness room was indeed open, but that they weren't telling guests that there was a back entrance. I understand that walking through a construction zone is not how a hotel wants its guests to encounter the gym, but a little more effort to accommodate those travellers who've been cooped up in their car all day would have been appreciated. I didn't sneak in a workout, but others did, and I was tempted.
