Wonderful business stay.
Very friendly staff - I always felt welcomed. Great Internet - sometimes a challenge to find in Germany hotels. Conveniently located at he edge of the beautiful Altstadt. Awesome breakfast!

Everything about our stay was excellent, we were in a few minutes walk of the old town. The Christmas market was wonderful and lots of shopping, restaurants, beautiful scenery, etc.

Lovely Hotel with Wonderful Staff
The hotel was nice. Luckily, I brought a fan since it was so hot. It made the room very pleasant. The staff is super nice. Check in was a breeze. I had a light dinner in the lobby Bat. It was nice and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is extremely nice and has something for everyone. I would definitely stay here again.

Great week in the Vienna House easy - Amberg !
Excellent service - very friendly staff. Excellent hot and cold breakfast items (European / American cuisine). The bar offers pizza & pide for food. The hotel is next door to the conference center and 1 block from the city wall (entrance to the old town). Two cautions: (1) Bring a fan if the weather is hot - the hotel has some, too. (2) Avoid rooms 401, 402, 301, 302, 201, 202, and 101, 102: these rooms are at the end of the hall, over the main entrance - where the smokers hang out, cigarette smoke wafts up into these rooms. I am already planning a weekend back to Amberg. It is a lovely city and the hotel is a delight!

Good experience, would stay again
The accommodations and staff are great but no air conditioning is a big issue in the summer above the first floor. No fans available either. Free parking is limited during the day, the hotel only has a handful of spots but there is large municipal parking lot that charge 1€ for 5 hours right in front of the hotel and free between 1800 and 0800 the next day.

Nice but hot
The hotel be nice in the winter but it was 35 degrees during my stay and they didn’t have an aircon or at least a fan. I could not sleep at all. Other than that, the hotel was a good value and clean.

Amberg hotel
The hotel is very clean and seem that have been remodeled lately. Is also located on a very good area although is very dark at night. Overall I will stay there again. If I am in the area.

Not bad but not the best in the area.
Good location and good breakfast but the bathrooms While clean are awkward as the tub is raised and the plumbing protrudes into the shower.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious with large windows and a modern aesthetic. Air conditioning would have been ideal, but in the evening the temperature dropped enough that it wasn't required.

Great everything, but beds are very firm
I've stayed here for about a month on a business trip. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Free internet and breakfast buffet is good. Location is walking distance from city center with many restaurants, but located in quiet area for good nights sleep. Plenty of free parking. Safe to walk at night. Great for big groups Only negative is that the beds are very firm (it's a German thing)..

Bei der Reservierung ist was schief gegangen - unser Zimmer für vier war nur für zwei hergerichtet. Daher haben wir unkompliziert und kostenlos einfach ein zweites Doppelzimmer bekommen. Hervorragender Service! Die Zimmer sind ruhig und sehr groß. Beim Frühstück (wie zu erwarten bei Viersternestandard) war das Personal auch überaus freundlich, gut gelaunt und umsichtig.
