Visiting our daughter at ISU. Staff were very nice. Remodeling if hotel currently.

Great pool. Small gym with no curtains so requires you to stare at pool goers and them stare at you -awkward. Rooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Entire hotel must have plumbing issues because friends stayed on second floor had tub that would drain so had to shower in standing water. Our toilet clogged with toilet paper the first time using. Overall this was a great hotel minus the plumbing.

Nice, reasonably-priced hotel with perks

Easy access from the highway; very nice hotel. Clean, modern, and very nice free breakfast- included eggs and sausage whereas most just provide cereal, muffins, and the like. Also had a managers reception- we couldn't attend as we had to be at a concert but received free drink tickets - next time we'll take advantage!

Cons: Kennedy (sp) should be re-trained in hospitality.
Friday night late I was greeted by a wonderful ambassador for the facility, the area and the profession. He was quick, courteous and quite informative without being asked. He knew I wanted to check in and get to my room, and he did everything to expedite my arrival and check in. THEN, on Saturday morning I called the front office to ask for an ironing board as there was none in my room. That's when my experience at this facility went south. A real terror of negativity, Kennedy (sp), answered my call to tell me my ironing board was bolted to the wall by my room's door. I politely informed her there was an iron but no board anywhere in my room or bolted to any of the room's walls. So she explained that she didn't know where one was as they were all bolted to other room walls and the motel was full so no room could be used to iron. I then asked her if housekeeping had one and she didn't know and didn't have time to check. I told her o k and hung up. I ironed my clothing on the carpet, as I have survivalist skills. I didn't call on Sat afternoon or Sunday morning, but I am writing the hotel. She (Kennedy (sp) ) was my check out agent and confirmed her ice cold attitude in person as I had to ask her in detail for a printed receipt and as she printed it she seemed aloof and pained that she actually had to do what a customer wanted. I'll call the motel and speak to management for a credit and help them understand some staff is clueless and some rooms don't have necessary stuff.

Had a wonderful stay. Complimentary drinks, outdoor fire pit. Staff went out of their way to help and inform. We'll be back!
