Filthy, Very Noisy , & Run Down
Posted Oct 22, 2015
We arrived at 9pm for meetings the next 2 days. We got to the room, it smelled bad, the floor along the walls had not been vacuumed for some time. I took a wet rag to check if dirty or sun bleached .The rag was black dirty and hairy. There was food on floor, items behind TV stand, beds & end table, hand prints on the walls, cobwebs to the ceilings. I then went to the bathroom to inspect, toilet seat was just gross and black and orange mold and other unmentionables. I wiped up before we could sit down. I went to take a shower (grossed out not wanting to touch anything and worrying about possible unseen stuff in room, the seat in shower was lifted up, full blown BLACK MOLD thick(the smell found), I finished the shower, got out took a white rag and wiped up one spot and proceeded down to the front desk, rag in hand. The desk lady was pleasant and helpful, they did have another room. It was a step up, but still dirty,no battery in smoke alarm, shower head falling off wall, cobwebs from lights, and so loud, you could hear when someone turned the light off on the wall, & sounds like the floor was falling in when they walked. We had meetings at the college career fair the next 2 days, made it impossible to find a hotel and now 10pm and could not getting a new hotel for our second day, because of check in time and cancel reservation possibility. This hotel is run down and needs an update, I understand that aspect, I have stayed in rooms that need some love, but not dirty.
