I clearly remember setting it down while packing in a rush. I understand that leaving the item was my mistake. However, when I contacted the hotel, I was told multiple times that nothing was found. It’s very hard to believe that a noticeable item like a speaker simply disappeared without being seen by housekeeping. This situation is disappointing because it raises concerns about how lost items are handled. I paid nearly $200 for that speaker, and I would have expected a more thorough and honest response. Overall, the stay itself was fine, but this experience left a bad impression. I hope the hotel takes a closer look at their lost-and-found process to ensure guests’ belongings are handled with integrity."
