Good value of money

Good and quiet location with public transport stops nearby. Bus stop where you can catch a bus to central rail station 2-3 minutes walking distance. 10 minutes walking distance to a tram stop which takes you to city center. Free bottled water troughout the stay. If you dont want to sit between four walls ask a room on the lower level featuring a terrace.

Shame, could have been perfect

Pros: The room
Cons: Restaurant
Location: Not bad, not so central , but quiet and sensibly placed for RAI and museums.
The menu in the restaurant was limited for vegetarians, the temperature in the harbour restaurant varies too much , the service was spotty and the food just OK, no more than that. I also understand sometimes a hotel closes a restaurant for a private party. but not if there is only one restaurant. A very limited room service menu is not an answer, and the fact I had to ask for special permission for the hotel to waive the room service charge of 10 Euro ( which they did ) is silly. Also there was no hot water on my last morning. That also happens, but I was told it would be hot in 15-20 minutes. It wasn't. If you don't know, don't guess, people make decisions on information and giving wrong information is counter-productive. Apart from that the hotel was excellent , I had a renovated room which was really good, quiet, excellent HVAC, good water pressure ( water could have been hotter at all times) great bed, great WiFi.the parking is iverfull and on my checkout, my taxi could not get out of the lot for 5 minutes becasue of the jam there.

Unfortunately, there was a system error which caused chilly water. Early in the morning when the error was discovered our Technical Service Department immediately solved the issue. Due to unclear messages, it was first announced that the water would heat up again within an hour. Nevertheless, after considering the error more precisely the Technical Service Department discovered it would take longer. My apologies for the inconvenience it has caused you. It is more than understandable that next to a cold shower, being misinformed was a bad start of your day. Furthermore, it is a pity that our restaurant The Harbour Club Kitchen was not up to your satisfaction. Did you know that when we finish the renovation we will also open a new restaurant? I do hope you will come and have a look! I am glad that despite these two points you still describe our hotel as excellent. Please contact me personally the next time you will stay with us so I can ensure a flawless stay for the future! Conveniently located

We stayed here for six days and I would definitely go back. This hotel is located in walking distance to the main museum area and Vondelpark. Our actual room was amazing! It opened up to our own outside deck and one of the canals. Can't get any better than that. The only thing that sucked was that there was active construction going on (we didn't hear any of it from our room). But it made the main entrance of the hotel look a bit unsightly.

Excellent w/e with my daughter in a plush hotel

Wonderful room, very modern and clean. I was here with my daughter, we were given upgrade to exec room as it was my daughters birthday. The staff were very friendly. We were very impressed with the free shuttle service pick up from airport and only had to pay 7 euros each for the return. The location was perfect with only a 7 min walk to the Tram which ran very regular. We enjoyed the 15 minute Tram journey to the centre as we got to see other areas on the journey. We found a lovely restaurant in walking distance from the hotel on our first night. The hotel was in a very good area.

Great value hotel

Pros: Lovely rooms of a good size and great bar area downstairs with a fire place. Very cozy and bar staff were excellent
Cons: More breakfast options. Could only have a full breakfast, would be nice be able to pay for just what you order, not the whole buffet.
Location: Great location with many tramlines to different areas nearby
Great hotel, good value for money. Was very pleasantly surprised at the room in which I stayed. Very comfortable and warm as I was staying in winter. Very easy to get around and they give out a great map of the city showing all tram line numbers and stops. Nice safe area to walk around with many cafes and restaurants within a five minute walking time.

Spacious and quiet hotel

The hotel location is a bit remote but it's perfect if you want to enjoy peace and quietness. It's only 15 mins to bike to the canal area and 10 mins to the museums.The tram #5 stop is around 10 mins walking distance. The staff were helpful. The only problem I had was during my checkout, the reception young lady wasn't very friendly or she acted like she didn't care to explain to me why the amount of my bill was $xx. The older gentleman from concierge ended up helping me to figure out.

spacious and comfortable

after a delayed flight we finally made it to our hotel past 10pm. we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a suite which had amazing views. everywhere was shut to eat but reception were more than happy to order us a takeaway. the only reason I couldn't give a 5 is due to the condition of the room as required some maintenance but overall lovely stay
