Very nicely decoratively and thoughtfully appointed apartment in a great location. There are restaurants and other amenities, including the fabulous Vondelpark, steps from the front door. The front door is across the street from a canal and is next to a busy restaurant, but the apartment is quiet and peaceful. Pleasant, helpful owners.

It was at the end of beautiful Vondel Park that is over a mile long & we walked it each day coming & going. The park was filled with runners, walkers, & of course bicyclists. If you want to be in the center of all attractions then this is not close for you. But we enjoyed the opportunity to walk through the park every day to the attractions. The property itself was super clean, had a wonderful breakfast each morning. Rooms or nicely decorated and very roomy.

Adorable B&B by Vondelpark
Paul and Karen's B&B was amazing! It was in a super cute area, close to Vondelpark, and a quick tram ride away from city center. Paul was very helpful when it came to navigating the city and gave us great recommendations during our stay. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and blackcurrant gin that was provided! We will definitely stay again!

Gorgeous B&B (although apartment would be a better description) and lovely location just next to Vondelpark and overlooking the canal. The stairs are quite steep so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Fabulous family base for Amsterdam
We had a wonderful 4 night stay here with our 12 and 15 year old....comfortable, clean, spacious, cool and quiet... the surprise breakfast every morning was delicious and the welcome was great. The position by the canal and lots of lovely cafes is perfect and its so easy to take a tram to the centre or walk through beautiful Vondelpark. So much nicer than a big hotel...thank you Paul and Karen.

This B&B was bright and clean and stylish. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The location is at one end of Vondelpark and right on a canal. We had a lovely stroll through the park to the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Paul was very helpful and made us feel at home.

We stayed in a family room. It was on the top floor with a view of the bridge and river. Our room was spacious with a really nice bathroom and A/C. Home made breakfast delivered to your room every morning at 9:00am. When we got home in the evening there would be a homemade snack waiting for us. It's about 2 miles out of the city center in a cute neighborhood with a grocery store within walking distance, there are about 15 restaurants within walking distance (one restaurant was below us. We were neve bothered by the noise. They held our luggage until we were ready to leave. We used Uber to get around they also have taxis. I cant say enough good things about this Bed and Breakfast.

Overall we had a good time in Amsterdam. Upon arriving to the property Paul gave us an orientation about the house, the area, the city. At the end he said the payment is in cash, which I was not prepared for. Paul said he had emailed me, but for certain reason I didnt get the emails. At booking I used my credit card and assumed it would be run. So I had to spend some stressful time of my vacation figuring out my options to solve the issue. Eventually I performed a global wire transfer but I wish I had brought cash, the booking had been more clear or I had received the emails ahead of time. Otherwise it was fine. The tram station is several blocks away, which is only an issue arriving/departing with our suitcases. The walls are thin, but that's how houses are in that part of the planet. The housekeepers were very polite and helpful.

we arrived to a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Paul was very nice and gave us warm welcoming. the app was clean and warm. (we arrived at night and it was cold outside) the only disadvantage was to share toilet and bathroom with another people, but it really wasn't that bad! 2 days later we changed to the suite which was amazing!!! all so beautiful, clean, great view and quiet! the service was great! we had a fridge so we could storage food we bought homemade cookies were waiting for us everyafternoon and the breakfast was unique. thank you for a beautiful stay 😄

Amsterdam visit
Great stay. Property clean and well-kept, owners were very helpful and responsive. Excellent location, the neighborhood is quiet but bustling, and conveniently located near downtown and many of Amsterdam’s attractions and also close to the airport.

Great place to stay
Enjoyed the B&B. Be aware that if you book upper rooms stairs are very steep and narrow. Paul and staff very friendly and accommodating. Have good advice on what to see, trams to take, etc. Would stay there again.

Perfect!
This was perfect for us, lovely, friendly hosts and everything was very clean and comfortable.. We loved all of the little extras like tea & coffee making facilities and the special treats that were left out. The breakfast was amazing, beautifully presented and delicious with so much thought put into it. The location was in a lovely area, just around the corner from Vondel park which we walked through to get to the city centre (about 30 minutes walk). There were also trams nearby which only took around 10 minutes to the centre. We would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.

Very nice owners, excellent breakfast service, a nice canal-view and convenient place. However, 2nd floor stairway is very steepy, so it is not good for elderly persons or ones with walking problem. Will recommend to family and friends to stay.
