Perfect family break
Hotel is in a great location, 2 minutes walk from a selection of shops, restaurants, bus stop and tram stop. We were greeted by friendly staff, our room (Amsterdam) was clean and had everything we needed, shower was warm and powerful. We didn’t eat breakfast as we were out and about early both days but it looked great. We had a drink in the cafe/reception and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Would love to come back to Amsterdam and would definitely stay at the Citiez again

This is a fantastic hotel, we stayed in the Beijing room which is a little on the small side but it was a very comfortable and very clean room with everything you need. The hotel is very clean throughout with a pretty good breakfast. All of the staff we met were amazingly friendly and helpful. The tram is right next to the hotel and it took on average 25 minutes to and from the central station (it always seemed quicker than that). If you are looking for a clean, comfortable and friendly hotel then this is the one you need.

Chilled and relaxing hotel
Lovely little hotel, only one floor of room which we liked so it was easy to find our room. The hotel felt cost and had a relaxed atmosphere. The reception downstairs was nice and had a drinks bar with comfortable seating area. Staff were always so lovely and attentive. The hotel is located in a high street with lots of food and clothes shops which was convenient. The room was nice. Shower gel and shampoo is provided so I would advise being hand soap and other toiletries. We opted for a twin bed room as online the double room looked super small. The twin beds could be pushed together but kept coming apart which was irritating but next time we would chose a double bed. Air conditioning did not work in our room so it was slightly cold but after telling the staff they provided us with extra duvet and an electric heater which made all the difference. There was a nespresso coffee machine which was restocked everyday, this was a nice touch. However we didn’t have spoons to stir and the cups were slightly too small for the coffee. Bathroom was a good size, shower was really nice: good water pressure and temperature.

Beautiful lake nearby and excellent nearby cafes for breakfast. In the centre of a shopping precinct but quiet at night.
