Very spacious rooms and nice bar. The front desk staff were particularly helpful when I fell over in the town and needed some first-aid. Very kind and this was much appreciated. I look forward to my next stay.

We stayed at the Conservatorium on September 23-26. The neighborhood around the hotel is very nice, and the hotel is close to museums. We arrived at 9:30 am and the room was ready! great! Our deluxe room was very spacious, clean, sleek and the bathroom as well. Surprisingly there were not many outlets for our phones, and computers. Due to the lack of outlets, we needed converters. We asked to the front desks and they have them but for a price! We tried to watch english speaking channels (CNN, BBC) but could'nt figure out. Asked front desk, they said we'll send someone. They never did.. After 3 days the TV was inoperable. We asked the concierge if he could print train tickets, he said yes, we went out, when we came out we requested the copies nobody knew about it. The concierge had left for the day. Expedia gave us a VIP access perks, we never received those. The service was poor, all front desk employees too young or untrained to know what a 5 star hotel outstanding service is like. Very disappointing experience ! I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Overpriced with poor customer service.

This hotel had an amazing fitness center! The best we have seen in all our stays in Europe! The staff was exceptional. Colleen in the dining area helped me tremendously and made me feel valued and special. We will definitely stay here when we are in Amsterdam!

The Conservatorium is a fabulous hotel. It is close to the Museums, they have knowledgeable concierges, the on-site restaurant is delicious, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Rooftop Suite, worth it
We decided to have a staycation in Amsterdam and booked the rooftop suite. The room is amazing. The bathroom is probably the best I've ever had in a hotel. The bed... well, for the amount of money you spend, the bed could be more comfortable. Other than that, this hotel is amazing!

Love the hotel and the service. Unfortunately we were only able 1 of the 4 nights we had booked and paid for because of the coronavirus and the USA closing down flights from Amsterdam. Would love to come back and spend more time at the Hotel.

Very good location if you like to visit Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum and Moco Museum which are very near to the hotel. Very safe environment and suitable for people travelling alone.

My husband and I travel extensively throughout the year, but we have never had a better hotel experience than the Conservatorium. The hotel's architecture is breathtaking, the rooms are modern and chic and the service is phenomenal. It is centrally located to all of the city's best museums and within walking distance to multiple (fantastic!) restaurants and parks. This is the only hotel we'll be staying in the future when returning to Amsterdam.

What an amazing hotel, so unique in character based around the beautiful lobby and with wooden beams in the bedrooms. Staff were great, so friendly and professional and any problem was sorted immediately. Would definitely go back

Check in was bureaucratic and slow. Then the staff tried to tell me I could not pay with a Visa debit card! We had to change lifts to get to our room. The room was a bit soul-less, very hard, and no comfortable sofa or armchair. The corridors were so dark and depressing that I could hardly navigate along them. We were unable to use the bar as they had let it out for a private party. At dinner, on the world's smallest wine list (9 whites only), the first bottle we chose was out of stock the second bottle was warm because it had not be stored in the fridge, and third bottle was not even on the list! A 5 star hotel at this price really needs to do much better. We will not stay here again.

Beautiful building, absolutely wonderful staff. We mentioned to the concierge that it was our honeymoon. Later that night a member of the staff brought us a gift to commemorate the occasion.
