Lovely hotel, close to train station

Pros: proximity to everything clean cookies
We stayed here due to it's proximity to the train station, and how easy it was to walk into the heart of Amsterdam from the hotel. We were greeted after a very long flight and train ride by a very friendly staff who spoke perfect English and offered us complimentary warm cookies as we checked in. What a nice way to welcome us! It was a big hotel but we were served quickly and let us check in early. Room was clean and very nice. We had a la carte breakfast and the omelette was great. About a 8 min walk from the train station, and 3 min walk into the main areas of Amsterdam, close to lots of restaurants, canal cruises, and the red light district. Although a little pricey, we loved our stay here!

Excellent hotel, fantastic staff.

Booked the hotel at short notice for a weekend stop. Location was perfect, very central. Hotel & room was excellent, staff couldn't be more helpful. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel, convenient situation

Cons: More comfortable easy chairs in the rooms
Location: The hotel is very close to the railway station and all the bus tram and underground railway all of which are cheap, very frequent,also very easy.
Very comfortable, easy access to all amsterdams sites and facilities

Great location and very nice hotel

Pros: Staff. Location. Quality of property.
Cons: Larger bed.
Location: Lots of things to do and see.
Great location, within walking distance of everything of interest. Hotel is very nice with nice restaurants. Staff was very helpful and professional.

Central hotel near train station

Pros: Location, comfort, staff
Cons: Slight noise from the trains for light sleepers - but you can just ask for a city facing room and you'll avoid this issue
Location: Very close to the train station, red light district, canals and pretty much all major attractions. 15-min tram ride to the museums.
Modern and comfortable hotel, a 5-minute walk from the Amsterdam Centraal (major train station, 20-min train ride from the airport). Rooms are comfortable, large enough, clean bathroom, friendly staff - my default choice in Amsterdam (where hotels are insanely expensive - I find this one to be a relatively good deal).

Next to Amsterdam Centraal Station

We decided to choose this hotel because it was next to the Amsterdam Centraal Station. However, with 3-4 luggages, we found it quite challenging as the pavements were rough and uneven with slopes. In retrospect, it would have been better to choose the hotels opposite the station as the pavements are flatter and easier to maneuver the luggages. No complimentary water in the room and had to logon to the wifi each time the device was on. However, they provided teabags with papercups which were quite nice.

Good location, right next to train station

Nice hotel went for executive upgrade view from room was superb looking right over city sky line. Use the executive lounge drink & food included in upgrade price.

Perfect base for exploring Amsterdam

Lovely welcoming staff. Upgraded to executive room. Really comfortable clean room, continental breakfast included and complimentary drinks in the executive lounge all day. Perfect base for exploring, we walked everywhere but you can jump on a tram back to Amsterdam Centraal from anywhere. Then 5 min walk back to hotel. Service in the bar and lounge areas was excellent. We do not have any negatives to report from our 2 night break.

close to city & train station

Pros: Have a Starbucks, restaurant , lounge all on site. Close to most amenities
Cons: Check in was very slow
Location: Close to Train Station, City Center
Check in does not start till 3 though there i8s a Starbucks or lounge to wait for your room. The train station is across the street & the city is a quick walk away
