Great weekend break for 2adts

Pros: The staff were so friendly, rooms were always clean, the facilities were fantastic. Nothing was too much hassle for the staff.
Cons: There wasn't much choice at breakfast but this was to be expected.
Location: Location close to the airport with a free shuttle bus meant that it was easy to get into town. It was a quiet location and not much around.
We booked this hotel having never been to Amsterdam before. We weren't sure about locations and were was best when booking. The idea of being out of the hustle and bustle was good for us as it meant the hotel was very very quiet. We would use the free shuttle bus to the airport from the hotel every day and then just got the train in. When we looked at it, it actually worked out cheaper to do it that way than pay the in centre prices!!! The hotels facilities were great! The staff were so friendly and always there if we had any questions. The food was great and the room we got was so clean and spacious. We had a great view that looked out over to the airport so we could sit and see the planes coming in to land and take off- which for us was a bonus!!! Would definitely stay here again in the future in a heartbeat- well worth a visit!! Recommended this hotel to my friends that are planning on going too.

Excellent airport stopover hotel

Airport transfers very efficient manned by helpful cheerful drivers. Room was modern and well equipped.

Liebes Expedia-Team, mein Mann und ich waren für 3 Tage in diesem Radisson Blu Hotel (mit angeblichen 4 Sternen). Als wir dort ankamen,hat uns die Bedienung nicht sonderlich begrüßt und direkt angefangen irgendwelche Formulare auszudrucken und über die Bezahlung des Aufenthalts zu sprechen.Über den Ablauf und die Besonderheiten des Hotels wurde nicht gesprochen.Wir mussten selber alles erfragen;)Wir hatten einen Business-Room gebucht,dass eine Mini-Bar enthaltet.Der Herr hatte uns gesagt,dass diese mit dem Inhalt inbegriffen ist. Das Parken unseres Autos für 3 Tage hat uns 75 Euro gekostet,welches er uns direkt mit der Bar-Zahlung für das Hotel abgezogen hat (schriftlich auch erhalten von ihm).Mit seinem chinesischen Akzent war er auch schwer zu verstehen,was erschwerend dazu kam. Sauberkeit:Am Morgen hatte ich meinen Kakao im Zimmer getrunken und ein paar Tropfen sind auf den Bettlaken gekommen.Normalerweise kenne ich das so,dass die Putzfrau jeden Tag ins Zimmer kommt und die Laken wechselt und alles was verbraucht worden ist im Bad,wieder auffüllt.Das einzige hier,was nachgefüllt worden ist,war das Klopapier und 1 mal die Badetücher.Das Bettlaken wurde bis zum letzten Tag nicht ausgewechselt,weil ich dies durch die bestehenden Kakaoflecken bemerkt habe. Kurz gefasst:Wir wurden abgezockt und verarscht,beim Check-Out mussten wir City-Tax von über 60 Euro und für die Mini-Bar 280 Euro zahlen,falsche Informationen,die uns bis zum letzten Tag gegeben wurden.Von Kulanz war hie

Good hotel, close to the airport

The hotel is fine for travelers looking for a place close to the airport, clean and comfortable with reasonable dining. No complaints, but a few thoughts on stepping things up: the hotel should have a more organized process to help travelers get boarding passes and confirm flights--this is a fairly common service at travel oriented hotels and the staff here was not really prepared for it, the shuttle service should be run more consistently with the larger vans--while there is a shuttle service we ended up taking taxis to and from the airport due to lack of shuttle service capacity.

typisches Business Hotel in der Nähe vom Flughafen

Pros: Sauberkeit, modernes Ambiente
Location: In der Nähe zum Flughafen Schiphol, ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Taxi.
Das Hotel macht noch einen sehr neuen, gepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Für den Winter kann ich das Hotel allerdings nicht empfehlen: Mein Zimmer (1. Stock) war bei der Ankunft relativ kühl, daher drehte ich den Thermostaten auf 25° Grad hoch. 3 Stunden später war es etwas, aber nicht wesentlich wärmer. Also den Thermostaten auf Vollanschlag (30°) gestellt und den Lüfter auf voller Stufe laufen lassen - keine Änderung. Da der Lüfter sehr laut war, musste ich die Klimaanlage vor dem Schlafen auf "Automatikmodus" stellen. Morgens bin ich in einem eiskalten Zimmer aufgewacht und war so stark durchgefroren, daß ich - was ich sonst nie mache - morgens ein Bad zum Aufwärmen genommen habe. Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, sollte daher ggf. einen eigenen Heizlüfter mitbringen.
