The building on the ad looks to have burned down and the property in use is old and not well upkept. Reception area was an old room, very dirty and cluttered. While waiting to check in, witnessed the owner and previous patron yelling at each other for 5 minutes. Hallways very loud all all night with people coming and going. Yelling/fighting from rooms above and beside until 4am. Bed was very worn out. Gum on the floor and holes in the celling. No coffee or even a cup provided. No towels in the room. Airport shuttle driver in old beat-up van, did not say much or even confirm who I was. No breakfast provided as advertised.

Yes, we have two separate buildings and we are in operating the hotel with 61 units building since 42 units building bunt down.

Evidently part of the hotel burned in a fire. The office is a make shift office, all the staff are really nice. The first room we got there was no heat. -17 degrees, so They were great about moving us. Second room the hot water in the shower didn't work and the TV didn't work. We sponge bathed since we only stayed two nights. Price reflected the hotel. Won't stay here again, but the staff were all really nice considering the conditions.

There was hair and some other type of solids (dirt, small pebbles) all over the bed sheets. I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter with all my clothes on. It was very noisy and you could hear loud tvs and music though the wall. Spend a few extra dollars and go down the road to the Lakefront Hotel.

Horrible place
It was not safe and it was not clean found crack pipe in hallway . People outside all hours of night parting and guess dealing drugs next day police came looking for someone work there harassing a customer thinking he was that person the front is burnt down. It looks nothing like the pictures the front office and the continental breakfast is in a room and it’s got food and cleaning supplies in their desk and everything in there. It was just an awful place.

The place is disgusting, unclean, and in managed. Homeless people inhabit most of the building and doors take a lot of effort to lock. Floors and furniture were dirty. I found a whole fingernail on the bathroom floor.

My room was full of mice. When I told the front desk they gave me mice traps . 4 mice found in less then 30 hrs . They chewed holes in my clothes. Refund and room exhange were both denied (another room would have been infested anyway ) Hotel is used as housing for homless ..Parking lot is full trash and dumpster divers .Not a safe place for women traveling alone . NOT a property children should be in proximity to . Orbitz has also not provided any recomps for this .

Although the staff did everything they could to help, this place is now a primary place to house the homeless. Half of the hotel was condemned due to a fire. The pictures are from the burned down section. We stayed in the remnant section. Had it not been so late we would have found another place to stay.

This hotel burned in a fire in 2022 and no longer has a roof over the main structure - they are still renting extremely unclean rooms in what remains after the fire even though there is no roof anymore. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room was clean but in poor condition. The entrance, office, hall and stairs were dirty. Part of the property was closed due to a fire. The office was in temporary configuration and the check in was sketchy at best. My wife would have rejected the situation without a doubt.

No one informed us that the majority of the building had a recent fire. Our room smelled of smoke and mustiness. Staff was nice tho. And transport to/from the airport and train station was quick.

Good place for a good price
The place was nothing like the picture from the website because the front wing of the hotel was destroyed by fire. I couldn't use the guest laundry until after hours because the hotel staff was using it for the Hotel's linens and towels. The rooms however were surprisingly big. But it's wooden floors meant that you can hear every step the person above you is taking.

The property is multiple building, one of which had a caved in roof and had a fire, it was boarded up. That was the building with the office. The new office was a hotel room, the "fridge" where the breakfast yogurt was did not look like it was cold enough for a permanent solution. Boxes of cereal on shelving in the hotel room/office, this is where your "grab and go" breakfast was. Overheard the staff member checking in the person in front of me that they would get someone to go up with them to "unlock their refrigerator"!?!? Who needs to lock a refrigerator, perhaps I misheard, who knows. I walked out and promptly booked a room somewhere else. I went in to see what it would cost me to cancel, I went through Expedia so the hotel couldn't do anything. Called Expedia, they initially said they couldn't refund because the check in time already passed, but they called the hotel and the hotel agreed to allow a refund. So the staff experience, limited as it was, was good, the rest, felt dirty and unsafe. Pulling in the lot I actually wondered how safe my car would be outside overnight. Glad I was able to get a refund, but I was willing to lose my money and pay for another hotel regardless. They need to update their description and photos to explain this upfront to future guests booking online.

Do not stay here! Absolute dive of a hotel!
The place was an absolute hole! You would’ve thought there was a death in the room, the smell of bleach was so overwhelming when we walked in. The room overall was not very clean. The upholstered chair in the room looked like it had been found on the side of the road and placed in the room, it was broken and dirty. If we hadn’t gotten there so late and weren’t so tired from traveling we would’ve never spent the night! They did offer a continental breakfast but we were not about to eat a meal from this place.
