DO NOT stay here.

Posted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: Staff was helpful , airport shuttle, close enough to walk downtown
Cons: Where do I start
Location: We ate at Osos, which was terrific
Although the pictures, were of the building and some of the obvious attempts the owners made at beautifying the rooms (The awning, the flower paintings, and nice bedding) , it does not at all capture how sketchy this hotel actually is. (I have stayed in Hostels around the world and lived in NYC for over 10 years. so I think I have a pretty high tolerance) When we arrived there was the thick and pungent smell of pot wafting through the hallways, the indoor/outdoor carpeting was stained on every floor and in the room, the Venetian blinds were broken in many of the windows we passed.(and in the room we eventually stayed in) In our original room neither the telephone nor the TV worked and the smell of Pot was overwhelming. The one plus was that when we complained, the young ladies at the desk were very sweet and did their best to make things better. We were put into a room on another floor which was by comparison a little nicer. We had a very early flight and the hotel offered airport service (which was my main reason for booking it). Unfortunately, the loud fighting of the permanent residents?/ other guests was not conducive to much rest. Again, the ONLY redeeming quality was that the night auditor was on top of it and was very sweet and apologetic as she took us to the airport that morning.

Run from this hotel

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Cons: Probably the best thing would be to close this down.
This was advertised as updated - far from it. The furniture - that would be a bed and a worn out dresser were old and shabby. The bathroom was too small for one person and rotating two people was even tricky. The carpet in the room and hallways was filthy. This hotel has no redeeming qualities. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Nice Alternative to Larger Hotels

Posted Aug 17, 2015
This small boutique hotel does not have all the amenities of the Westmark or Marriott, but the staff are helpful and and cheerful. The only downside was that there is only one person on staff per shift, so you need to schedule ahead of time for that trip to/from the airport. Rooms were clean. We thought it was a good value for the money.

Hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: The helpful and friendly staff
Cons: new facility
Location: No close restaurants - arrived late afternoon and left early morning so not familiar with things to do near by.
Very old facility - no elevator (short staircase to 2nd floor), small room, no close restaurants. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful (opened the breakfast bar for our early flight - and took us to the airport early). Would not recommend this hotel

Don't believe the photos

Posted Aug 3, 2015
This is not a boutique hotel like they claim to be. The carpet was covered in stains. The king sized bed had no headboard, sheets with no less then 10 threadbare spots, two old, stained, flat pillows and the bedspread had several long hairs on it. The bathroom fan rattled so loud that it sounded like a jet engine. One of the glass shower doors fell of the rails twice while I was in the shower. The wall mounted hairdryer didn't work so they had another wall mounted dryer stuffed in a box under the sink for guests to use. The continental breakfast ran out of coffee. There were four guests waiting in the lobby when I went to checkout at 8:30 and the desk had a note that said something about leaving your keys in the bowl because she had to step out for a little while.
