The hotel is under renovations. The room we stayed in was big and nicely decorated. The heater did not work. Tried to cool room down but nothing happened slept with window open. It was quiet enough at night. If u r on the 3 rd floor u have to take elevator to second floor and walk up the flight. Room was clean and staff was helpful.

The property appears to be recently renovated with an attached restaurant that was very nice. It was a spacious room and clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended this property.

There wasn't anyone to check you in, you had to call a number. It was rundown. The bed was hard as a rock. Smelled funny. No fan or anything so the room was hot as could be. Some random banging on the wall that connected me, but couldn't talk to anyone about it because no one works there. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Located along the main drag and easy to find. Parking behind the motel off street. They were trying an app for accessing your room, but didn't work at first. The manager fixed the problem quickly. A number of good restaurants near by.

There is not a live person at this location. Several of us were waiting hours to try to check in. I will NEVER stay here and recommend to everyone I know to STAY AWAY!

My wife has bone to bone on her knees. There are no elevator and we were put on the 3rd floor. It was to much to ask my wife to continue that climb. So the next day I asked if we could be moved down to the 1st floor. They were very helpful on acamodating us. I was so grateful for that! Thank you!

If I could give this property better than 5 stars, I would. We stayed here two nights. The owner and his wife were fabulous. The hotel is a little older but it has been nicely remodeled. The room was a great size with a great mattress and nice pillows. There was smart TVs options so we could watch Netflix like at home. Palmer has so far been our favorite area of Alaska. The town is small, but it still has great food. You can walk to most any restaurant from the Eagle hotel also. I will definitely stay here again if we are lucky to come to Alaska.

3rd floor room was surprisingly spacious with a balcony looking at the mountains. Big tv with Directv. Location is close to everything you need. Only saw someone at the front desk when I arrived for check in so it’s a bit concerning that no one was ever there after 4 days after. However, the one encounter I did have was a pleasant one.

Never Stay Here its a Dump and thats being Nice.
Our stay was horrible. Two nights of uncontrolled running in the halls, parties on the common deck, and rooms on either side making noise until the early hours of the morning. No full-time desk clerk, and no recourse for noise other than 911. The elevator as advertised was not functional to the 3rd floor, the AC was portable and not set up with the room at 81degrees. This was a never to return Hotel Exp. and should not be on any Hotel App as anything other than a Nightmare. However, when we did have two maintance issue the young man who resolved the issues was steller in his determination to make us happy and resolve our issues as fast as he could. Thank you for that. The resturant attached tot he hotel has poor traveler or event hours, opening at 0700 and closing early afternoon, we never did have the opportunity to eat there. It was recommended that we should never stay there again, by friends, and I can assure you, this is a Dump, and all that goes with that,

They didn’t have our reservations right. We only got 1 room instead of 2, and we found our other room the next am and it wasn’t used. There was no heat, they had to go find a portable heater and no ice machines. They acted like they were put out by the whole experience. The room was clean and very comfortable

Front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. Hotel inside has been upgraded and is clean. Only minor issue was our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator only went up 2 floors.

The accommodations were very comfortable and it is a very spacious hotel that I would definitely stay again at... The window had a fan in it and it was a good source of keeping the room cool because the air conditioning units aren't that efficient at all but in order for me to have privacy I would have had to have left my curtain wide open in order to operate that fan blowing into the room there by people could see me inside the room in my underwear that is the only problem I had with this facility it is very nice and horrible and I recommend it highly

This was an unplanned Experience, we had a hard time finding a hotel,as they were all booked. The Owners are the "Greatest people in the world type "they go over an above to make sure ur stay is a delightful experience. Very clean and comfy rooms they have Rooms designed for HandyCap people, im Terminally ill x 2...Its a good feeling knowing im safe and sound.And they have the Awesomest Restaurant, everything is very well prepared an has Great Employees. This is the way everyone should Operatethere ther hotels,lead by example its the Best way to Climb the Tree of life.very good Hotel .*****Stars ...great place.

Big and clean room, has its own bathroom. The bed and the pillows are great. Also, it has coffee station and water heater inside the room. They have a self service check out (you just leave the keys in a box on the front desk). Definitely would stay again.

This was about the only hotel available at the last minute in the area, & we were not sure what we were getting due to the relatively poor reviews we saw online. I'm happy to report that we were pleasantly surprised! The room we were in was huge, clean, and had everything we needed. No, it's not the Hilton, but we spent right about $100 & if you're looking for clean & comfortable, it was worth every penny. Super convenient to have a restaurant with good food right downstairs, too! Big bonus!

Great clean place in Palmer
My family of three stayed one night at Eagle Hotel. The rooms seem to have been newly renovated. It was spacious and very clean, equipped with all the amenities. The heating system wasn't working properly but they were very accommodating, bring us a portable heater right away. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much.
