Lovely hotel!Posted Sep 30, 2015
Very nice experience at this hotel. Upon arriving at the airport, all we had to do was call them and the free shuttle arrived within 10 minutes which was very convenient. When checking in, we were notified of an upgrade to a suite for the 4 of us. Room was huge! My husband and I, plus our 2 adult children had plenty of room. We had 2 bedrooms, one with dbl beds, the other with a king as well as 2 baths. In the center was a living room with a kitchenette. We just missed the happy hour as we didn't arrive til 7:30, but each adult over 21 is allowed 2 free alcoholic beverages per day. An employee very nicely carried our drinks for us up to our room as we had ordered ordered take-out pizza from nearby Moose's Tooth. (Someone from the hotel actually took us out the side door and walked with us part way to show the short cut to the pizzeria!) Since we were tired from a long day of travel and time change, it was a comfy place to hang out. Included was a free breakfast with made to order omelets - all delicious! Since the day was a rain-out, we asked for a late check out so my husband and son could access the wifi to do some work. Mid afternoon, we took the shuttle back to the airport to access the bus to take us to Whittier for our cruise. We did not get to see any of Anchorage since this hotel is not downtown, but because of the bad weather, we did not mind and enjoyed a relaxing evening and day in the hotel! Thank you for the upgrade and late check out! Would definitely recommend!

Perfect... the room was so clean,Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Food, Rooms where spotless.. even the carpets took us by how clean they were.. I liked the openest of your lobby and everyone treated you nice.
Cons: I would say get a stuffed Moose for the lobby.. I just like looking at animals.. I'm a hunter..
Location: We never got lost.. we went north the first day to Tlkeetna then south to Cook inlet the next day.. I believe your hotel is perfect location.
I have to let you all know that we will be back to stay with you.. only thing is next time we need to stay longer.. The Breakfast that you guys have is the best.. good food and it was hot.. good coffee too.. Thanks for being one of the best Hotels we've stayed at.. Ben..

Costly and Nice!Posted Sep 10, 2015
Nice people at the front desk. Great breakfast. The hotel is close or walking distance to everything in downtown Anchorage. I like staying at Embassy suites and this one is not an exception. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was super!
Cons: Pool was dirty and the floor was dangerous!
Location: Nothing is close in Anchorage! :)
Nothing to great for the kids besides the pool. It was ,more entertaining for the drinking adults.

GREAT hotel! We loved it! GREAT location.Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Everything. I would highly recommend it to anyone. GREAT value for the money. The restaurant is nice also. The wait staff are wonderful.
Location: The museum is close by, as well as great antique shops and other excellent shops and restaurants.
This was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Alaska! We absolutely loved it! We enjoyed a hot, cooked to order breakfast, free drinks (2 per adult) an indoor pool for the kids and a lovely room.

Nice hotel close to airportPosted Aug 23, 2015
Room was comfortable. Asked if there were any restaurants close by since we didn't have a car and were told one in hotel - just didn't have that diverse a menu to choose a plain sandwich instead of a meal. When we did have access to car there were a bunch of fast food places in area including a Qdoba which was actually almost right next door (within walking distance). Hotel workers should have better communication skills and knowledge of what's available in neighborhood.

Appreciated the bedroom separate from the living area. Great breakfast included with room fee, plus 2 drink per person happy hour with room fee.
