The breakfast bar seats four people with four comfortable bar stools. Snuggle up on the bed or on the sofa and watch something entertaining on the flatscreen TV with cable with a steamy cup of coffee, hot cocoa, or tea. The baseboard heat unit will make sure you and your guests stay warm during chilly nights. The full bathroom offers a convenient tub/shower combo. Guests who decide to book this home away from home will be granted access to a shared laundry facility with washers and dryers.

Bring ear plugs
They absolutely need to warn people about the bakery underneath and the party atmosphere of the surrounding apartments. The bakery exhaust fan is literally right on the other side of the wall and shakes the whole apartment. It’s a very old style of system and should be replaced. It starts at 4:30 in the morning and goes until 2:30 in the afternoon. The apartment above us has gatherings almost every night. On Thursday they were playing drums at 4am. Oh and when someone decides to smoke weed on the restaurants deck above you it gets sucked into the apartment. This place use to be one of our favorite places to stay but this year it shows they don’t put any money back into it and are charging almost double. Back to the resort next year. I usually try not to complain but when the price almost doubles so do expectations. I see no improvement since our last stay. We also had to re clean pretty much any thing we were gong to eat or cook on. They did not even empty the coffee maker.

If your a light sleeper, good luck. Bring earplugs and cross your fingers. Very thin walls and ceiling. The apartment above us had a person pacing a lot of the night. The Bakery below has its loud exhaust fan running at 6:30am and started prepping around 4:30: Am. Also check out their menu it’s more of a cafe. Location is great, clean apartment/ dorm style. Door code was 9 digits, secure but at a cost. I feel bad for the owners of the apartment itself. this platform and the other platform that “manages” the property take a huge chunk of what could be profits for them and or lower costs for the renters. Was it all worth it to my family, yes.

Great location!
The place was very clean. It is a bit small for a family of four, however the space is amazingly well planned out. We had everything we needed and since we spent most of our time exploring beautiful Alaska, it worked really well for us. It is on the Alyeska property which is very beautiful. Mountains in every direction. Enough restaurants in town to keep it interesting. And from there we could get to Whittier and Seward with a relatively short drive. Bike rentals within walking distance. And Girdwood is the start if an amazing 16 mile coastal trail called Bird to Gird. Great hiking with beautiful waterfalls from the ski resort property. We saw several moose on the trails. Condo is above a bakery cafe which had superb lattes and nice breakfast and lunch options. We had a bit of trouble getting the keys to work when we arrived, but management quickly got us a replacement set. We loved our stay!

Great place!
We really loved staying here and being walking distance from some shops and restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was checking in. We arrived after hours and it was VERY difficult to find the key box and even the front door (which was actually locked beyond the key, requiring us to hike around back where the key thankfully did work on the sliding door). Otherwise, the place was great, just make sure you get details to get in if you're after hours!!
