The nautical-themed Hotel Captain Cook offers a central downtown location three blocks from the Egan Convention Center in Anchorage. There are four on-site restaurants, a gourmet coffee and wine bar, room service during limited hours, a piano and a fireplace in the lobby. The Crow's Nest - Restaurant and bar situated atop Tower 3 on the 20th floor, with superb views of downtown, Cook's Inlet, and the Chugach Mountains. Offering a sophisticated blend of French and New American cuisine and a 10,000-bottle wine cellar, including the Chef's daily five-course tasting menu, each course paired with a different wine. Anchorage's only AAA-four-diamond restaurant. Reservations recommended. Serves dinner; closed Sunday and Monday during winter.
Fletchers - Fletcher’s Restaurant offers gourmet pizza, fresh pasta dishes and seafood specialties in an English pub-style setting. Named for Fletcher Christian, the man behind the historic mutiny on the Bounty, the seafaring ambiance extends to such local delights as Alaskan Halibut Piccata, accompanied by a local, micro-brewed beer, wines by the glass or cognac. Serves lunch and dinner.
Whale's Tail Bistro and Wine Bar - Radically new and innovative, this option presents 32 wines to choose from, in a way you have never experienced before. Discover Alaska's first self-serve wine dispensing system. Cozy up to the fire with friends, or swing by the bar for Kobe beef sliders and a martini. Serves dinner. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
The Pantry - Located in the main lobby, The Pantry is our indoor sidewalk café featuring a delightful selection of American cuisine for breakfast. For lunch you can enjoy local favorites such as chowder or fresh fish.
