Excellent Gastropub at this hotel!

Posted Feb 25, 2017
While the staff were friendly the restaurant at this hotel is outstanding! Live music and great food made for a great Sat night. But our room was not turned over. They came by at 5. Too late! I'd stay here again.

For a non smoking room it smelled like it was

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: I
Cons: This hotel needs to be updated, new flooring, new bed spreads and fresh coat of paint on the walls to rid the smell of cigarettes.
For a non-smoking room it smelled like it was. The room needed to be updated BAD!! The floors were dirty, I have no idea why a gross stained red chair was in the room. The maids turn on vacuums super early, as to wake you up and I was charged twice for the room. Once from Expedia and then from Inlet Towers as they want a card for incidental's? yeah right they charged me for the room. Overall I would say that you get what you pay for when your trying to save money.

We're sorry to hear we weren't able to meet your expectations. I can assure you that the card taken for incidentals was just authorized. If you used a credit card, the authorization should have been released within a day of checkout, however, debit cards can take up to five days for the bank to release. If you still believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact the front desk and ask to speak with a manager about incorrect charges and we will sort it out for you. We will continue to work hard to address some of the things you described and hope you will give us a chance again in the future.

Good price

Posted Feb 14, 2017
Pros: Large kitchen and bathroom.
Cons: The bed was hard. Needed a new mattress
Location: Close to shopping, stores...etc.
Nice, quiet......good restaurant. Cheap rates......I don't know what else to say. This section has a minimum character requirement so, I had to keep typing.

Close to downtown

Posted Feb 10, 2017
Staff are great, lobby is very nice. Rooms are cramped and old. Floor was very slanted. Good place for younger crowd.

Hockey Mum, Thanks so much for your feedback. We are an older building that is in the process of being updated, and we do realize we have limitations but I hope we were able to enjoy your stay otherwise. Please come back and see the changes we are making for yourself if you find yourself in Anchorage again.

Nice hotel close to everything in Anchorage

Posted Feb 8, 2017
Pros: great view, laundry facility, cleanliness and Abaz
Cons: modernize tv and bathrooms
Location: close to everything, in the summer you could walk to many downtown places
Abaz at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful, made me feel welcome right away. Room was ok, with an older tv that lost signal intermittingly. Overall clean and pleasing with a great view of the city. I would have no problem staying here again on my next visit. Nice, clean laundry facility in the basement and bar in the lobby.

Near downtown, comfortable stay

Posted Feb 2, 2017
Pros: friendly staff, convenient location
Cons: the tub is hard to get in and out of because it is on a platform. The rooms are starting to show wear but found them very comfortable.
Location: Near downtown, easy access to airport, downtown and midtown
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant was good food, friendly staff. I stay here on business and find it convenient location and comfortable stay pleasantly priced.

Excellent Stay

Posted Jan 30, 2017
Pros: Loved the room size and comfort.
Cons: Definitely their breakfast
I would have give a five on all areas BUT I have to say I was really disappointed in the breakfast. It was $10 each (3 of us) and the meal consisted of a heated up sandwich like a mcmuffin, yogurt, and 1 cup of coffee. We had a $20.00 redeemable meal ticket so I didn't fuss about the price. But for any future people who are going to stay here, you might want to make plans for eating breakfast out. Very disappointing. Other than that, our room was a King size suite and it was very roomy and comfortable. I loved having the bedroom towards the back of the area. I would recommend anyone to stay here just make note of your breakfast options.

Hello, thank you so much for your feedback! We really do appreciate any notes from our guests. I am glad you enjoyed your room thoroughly! As for breakfast, unfortunately we do only have our Cafe 501 open during the slower winter season. However, as soon as May starts, our restaurant does open up for a full service breakfast with fresh benedicts, french toast, etc. I do hope you come back and see us during the summer season and experience what our kitchen has to offer! Safe travels!

Nice hotel in midtown with fantastic mountain view

Posted Jan 22, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, high rise, onsite laundry, and having a kitchenette.
Cons: Better quality mattress.
Location: Hotel located in mid-town Anchorage with lots of activities, restaurants and shopping nearby.
Super friendly staff, clean accommodations. Only problem was mattress needed to be replaced as it was too soft and sinking in the middle. But I mentioned this upon checkout and the desk clerk notified the maintenance crew on the radio in my presence.

Out dated hotel

Posted Jan 21, 2017
This hotel ha potential to be a great hotel again. Only with a inside make over. Service was good however I paid for a king size hotel room and was put in a queen. By the time I unpack from driving 6+ hours it wasn't worth the hassle!!!

Hello! Since new ownership came on not to many years ago they have been chipping away at this historic building. In just the two years I have worked here I have seen great improvements. We do greatly appreciate our guests feedback, and I hope upon your next trip you are able to see more changes for the better here at IT. I do apologize for the mistake of you being assigned the wrong room. If you would like to email or call myself here at IT, I would be happy to arrange for a refund of the differences of the room, or arrange another stay for you here at IT at a discounted price. My name is Cassandra, and you can call the Front Desk any time to be connected directly to me. Thanks and safe travels!
