-Free shuttle to and from airport/downtown was quick and hassle-free. Drivers were friendly and knowledgeable about Anchorage.
-Front-desk open 24-hours.
-Only one of the front-desk clerks, Reagan, was friendly and approachable.
-Room and bathroom were clean.
-Free continental breakfast was actually filling. (Bagels and cream cheese, muffins, orange juice, apple juice, milk, cereals, coffee)
--Free coffee available 24-hours
-There were vending machines for snacks and beverages.
-Laundry room was clean and easily accessible. $1.00 for detergent pod, $2.00 to wash, $2.00 to dry for 40 minutes.
-Walking distance (8 minutes) to Our Lady of Guadalupe Co-Cathedral (Roman Catholic)
-Corner convenience store/gas station (5 minutes walk) was a good place to get bottled-water, snacks, and souvenirs.
-Restaurants and fast-food places are all walking distance from the hotel.
-No electric fans in my room so I had to keep the windows open when inside.
-Difficult to recognize who were the hotel staff to ask for help when needed.
-One of the desk-clerks wore a sour-face all the time that made me feel that I shouldn't be bothering her with questions.
-My room was not cleaned on the 3rd night I was there. I reported it and was told I was supposed to let the front-desk know in the morning when I needed it cleaned. Didn't have to do that the first 2 nights and was never told about this policy. Was offered to send someone to clean my room, but I just wanted to go to sleep
