In terms of amenities, it's very basic. I only stayed for one night, and I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays.

It was really cheap, so I was not expecting much, but worst hotel breakfast and coffee service I’ve ever experienced. Toaster didn’t work. Coffee not hot. Butter frozen. No half and half for coffee, only corn oil fake creamer. Coffee had grinds in it.

I thought I was booking in Anchorage Micro as when your online booking is reads micro Hotel Eagle River/Anchorage what it doesn’t tell you is that your reservations are automatically booked for Eagle River, the staff was very nice, polite and understanding.

I have never given a property a review this bad, but it was bad. I don’t mind old, but dirty and scary is not cool. The night I arrived there was someone screaming looped out on drugs next door. The next day they had to kick the guy out and the smell was so gross. I had giant hairballs in my shower and goo on the shower walls. There was a toilet paper wad stuck to the wall in the bathroom that stayed for 5 days. We stayed a week. Our bed was never made and sheets were never changed and I had to ask for towels every day. I repeatedly asked that the bathroom could be cleaned. Garbages were periodically emptied. Mirrors and bathroom looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in months. Was on ground floor and curtains had to be held closed with pillows as hooks were broken and didn’t close properly. Had to go buy my own pillow. Pillows provided were like 10 cotton balls in a pillowcase. Breakfast was meh, but we didn’t pay a lot so wasn’t expecting much. I actually feel terrible for a review this bad, but if you are a woman alone I would not recommend staying here.

Small cozy room with a nice window seat. The lobby was nice and welcoming. The security has not been updated other than to install electronic doors on each room. The carpet was not cleaned well and there was dust on most surfaces.

We stayed there 2 nights, first night the next room occupants were blasting the TV all night and talking very loud. Second night was quiet as it was in a different room on the top floor. Dirt here and there in the room but not terrible. No coffee maker in the room and the breakfast was simple (bagels, cheese spread and cerials). But the coffee was terrible. Tasted like it was burnt somehow. For the prize we paid for the rooms, it's an OK place.

The parking lot hasn’t been plowed all winter, just packed in making a giant, thick sheet of ice. The check-in process was smooth after someone finally came to the desk. A surprise to us was that they leave all to unoccupied rooms doors ajar, which we had never seen. However, even with the opportunity for the room to air out, we were still hit with a pungent smell when we walked in. Upon further inspection of the room we found “interesting” stains everywhere. The couch and chairs had stains all over. Even the wall had “yellow” stains, those we didn’t discover until we were packing up. The sounds of dogs barking all night and loud TVs made sleep pretty hard to get.

This property is the dirtiest property I have stayed at. I travel a lot for leisure and often stay at hotel close to home when I am studying for finals. This hotel is by far the most run down, and dirtiest property I have stayed at. I am glad I was only there to study because I don’t sleep much so the few times I napped it was on the couch in my clothes as I was not confident the sheets had been cleaned. The housekeeper was super sweet and did get me some clean extra blanket for the couch. I would not recommend this hotel even if it’s for a quick stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. But the room was dirty, the same light was burned out during two stays one month apart, the window wouldn’t open, and the handicap access and stairs weren’t shoveled for the two days I was there. They offer a very good price deal but sometimes the stay is barely tolerable when filth is found on the floor and in the bathroom.

There was breakfast every morning and the bed sheets and towels appeared to be clean. And for $44/night it was somewhere to stay semi-last minute but those are really the only positives. The room in general was not very clean. There were spills and stains on the walls, the carpet & baseboards looked very dirty and there might've been a blood stain. There was a hole in shower wall like someone hit it with a hammer. The kleenex and toilet paper were empty when I got there. The room i stayed in was loud at all hours of the night with the door to the stairwell slamming shut and shaking my room plus super loud stomping footsteps. The front desk and staff were friendly but there was one lady in particular that was always in her office. We spent a lot of time in the lobby and whenever someone was checking in or needed assistance at the front desk the lady was never available and i noticed people were annoyed having to wait or had to call her to help them. On my last day they shut the water off to my room to make some plumbing fixes. I went down for breakfast at 9 and there were no signs up but when i came down to out at 11 the signs were there but had been too late to shower, unsure if it was planned or an emergency but quite inconvenient to have no notice besides a sign on doors in the lobby. If you don't mind a little uncleanliness or the bare minimum this place is for you.

We found drug detox containers and test strips in our trash can upon entering the room. Carpet was very dirty and stained. Overall room just felt dirty and uncomfortable. Would recommend going somewhere else.
