Staff was very nice. Inside of hotel was clean. We walked across street to eat. It was nice that they ordered a Lyft to pick us up to take to the airport and hotel paid for it.

The Staffs were lovely and very helpful. Love the heated pool and hot tub! The location was across from theater and the breakfast was delicious. The chef lady was very nice, and we love her oatmeal!

Staff was great! The gentleman that was running breakfast was outstanding! The room is nice. TV was not where i would place it, but that is totally a personal preference. Breakfast was good. Scrabbled eggs, sausage, wafflss, oatmeal, cereals , etc.

Mostly an unpleasant experience. First, maximum rate for a room and was expecting a nice room with good views for that price. However, the experience was much below my expectations. The room I had had a single window with the porch roof adjacent to the window, hiding the lower half of the window, not only obstructing the view (basically no views) but also creating a darker room environment as there was not enough light from the only window in the room. I reported the issue to the staff within 10 minutes of check-in. I talked to Justina, the PM shift supervisor. She said she couldn't move me to another room but said, "What else can be done"? I requested a discount as the room was much below the expectations compared to the price paid. She said the morning shift manager can only deal with it. No one called the next morning, so at 9:15 AM, I talked to Angelica. She played ignorant about the issue and said there were no PM staff notes and the supervisor was busy with whole-day meetings. I requested her to add notes about the issue. At checkout, I could talk to Doma, a manager. She walked with me to the room and saw the situation. I requested her to look into discounts due to such an unpleasant experience. By the way, the hotel surroundings were unsafe, too; I saw multiple homeless people walking in the parking lot. Walking back and forth from the car in the parking lot to the hotel is scary. I sincerely hope for a decent refund to compensate for such a bad experience.

The room was big and clean and we loved that. This hotel is not convenient unless you have a vehicle. The complimentary Lyft ride to the airport was appreciated.

I recommend this property. It was clean & safe albeit expensive ($500/night for 2 queen beds). The free breakfast was very good -- sort of standard fare but all was clean and the staff efficient. Plenty of room in the dining area, too. The hotel no longer has its own airport shuttle but schedules & pays for a Lyft ride instead. The Lyft driver was there right on time so this option worked well for me.

We had a one night stay as we were leaving for Whittier to catch our cruise. The hotel is close to restaurants, Walmart and all are a convenient close walk to get to. The hotel has a pool (bonus), very spacious rooms with bar fridge, seating area, beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. Highly recommend for one or more days.......

Staff were poorly trained and rude.Check in took three tries - once online, twice in person. Elevator was broken. To get the King room we had requested they had to put us in an "accessible room," which would have been ok expect that an accessible room should be for someone that needs it and the shower was tough to use. Add to that: no hot water, no explanation or apology. When I reported it the staff person said "that was fixed last night." I pointed out that we tried to shower that morning and there is no hot water - no response. No track off mat at entrance made for a VERY slippery journey as it was raining when we arrived. Seems incredibly unsafe. Police were parked outside for for a long time, not sure what that was about. Added to a general sense of unease.

The room was big and comfortable. It was great that the shades blocked out the sun as sunset isn’t until 11:45pm in summer in Alaska. There were random black and red marks on the carpet however (I think the red ones were dried gum).

Upon arrival their system was down, so they could not check us into a room, and just made us sit there for an hour. The front desk employees were not very friendly or helpful. There was hair in the bathtub. Breakfast was OK. The custodian was the most friendly person there. He should get a raise. The room was very spacious for 5 people.

Hello,We are very sorry to hear that you were affected by the power outage last week, unfortunately the power in the entire block went our which caused the system to go down for close to an hour until we were able to restore all servers. because of this the front desk could not check anyone in until the server issue was resolved. This is the first time this is happening at our hotel, and we are very sorry to hear it affected you. As far as finding such imperfection in your tub regarding cleanliness, we will be discussing further with our Housekeeping team as we stream to provided outstanding service and what you are describing is below our standards. Additionally, we appreciate the positive feedback regarding the custodian's service and your interactions with him. We hope you will give us another chance next time your trips bring you to the area!

Nice and clean, the rooms are so modern and asetically pleasing. Me and and my 2 year old swam in the pool, and the breakfast is really good. Lots of options of food to choose from.

Bed was too firm. Tub is too small. Towel bars barely hanging on the wall. Only 1 coffee for two people. Handicapped room requested. Put in 3 rd floor no handicapped room.pool stinks from urine

Dear guest,We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the firmness of our mattresses as well as the size of the tubs in our hotel. It is our standard to provide only 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee per room, however, we have plenty more available upon request. Again, we are very sorry that at the time of arrival our ADA rooms were not available. We suggest reaching out in advance to us to pre-block your stay into an ADA room next time. We test our pool sanitation levels on daily basis, and we have a log to show that the pool cleanliness is always up to standard. Again, we are very sorry that we did not meet your expectations, and we thank you for your business! We hope that you will give us another chance when your travels bring you back in the area.
