Nice but Noisy Hotel

The staff was awesome. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We did note that our rooms were not attended to until late afternoon so coming back to a dirty room at 3 p.m. was not something we were used to or expecting. We stayed a week and this happened each day.
The hotel had a lot of kids. We took our grandson to the pool and although the pool capacity said 15, there were 43 kids here. We counted. Since our grandson was already keyed up to swim, we stayed. About an hour later, hotel security came and asked those of us adults with kids to leave with their children as they were sure most of the kid were unsupervised and likely not even staying in the hotel. We left so not sure what came of that other than the pool was closed for several days after that.
Breakfast was just okay. Again, there were many people so finding a table was difficult and we had to wait to get food. Breakfast didn't vary from day to day, which I can understand to a point, but after 3-4 days, we just didn't bother going down there to get average tasting food or fight a crowd to get it.
There are no restaurants in walking distance, but the hotel is not that far from stores and restaurants but you had to drive a few miles. The hotel is close to 2 hospitals and one staff told us that most of their visitors are there because of the hospitals which might explain all the kids.
Overall, we had a okay stay but will stay away somewhere else next time.
