Awesome hotel

The best vacation we ever had and the nicest hotel we ever stayed at. We'll definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. The staff was great if we needed anything they helped us out. We loved that there was a hot tub & heated pool to enjoy.

We had a really disappointing experience. I chose this hotel based on good ratings. We checked in really late and went straight to bed, . There was something in the room making a very loud clicking noise about every ten to fifteen seconds. We tried to sleep though it but it was impossible. My husband realized it was the microwave and unplugged it. When I told the front desk about it, she could clearly care less that it was bothersome to us but said she would send maintenance to look at it. The bathroom was gross. You could see the floor desperately needed to be mopped and there was a big long black hair on the toilet. There was also debree on the bathroom floor and a large dead spider. We had breakfast the next morning at the neighboring restaurant and was served by a very grumpy waitress. The entire experience was disappointing and not only would I never stay there again, I would advise others to find someplace else.

Nice hotel and rooms

Very busy during our stay due to a wedding. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable Place to Stop

Our room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. The hotel is right off the highway but not noisy.

Close to freeway but quiet.

Pros: Very quiet.
Location: My wife and I went for a walk, it was good
Room was clean, view of lagoon, grounds and walkways well kept. Restaurant food was great, really enjoyed it. Overall was good.

A very worn hotel.

Pros: It is quiet.
Cons: Pretty much everything. Add something fresh and unique - the bathroom felt like a locker room with the shampoo, etc. dispensed from the wall.
Location: Redding, Mt. Shasta are nearby and the Sacramento River is (which is why I chose this hotel) is close.
The positives are that the hotel is clean, quiet, and felt very safe for a lone woman traveler and there is a restaurant. The negatives are that it is "tired" and although I thought that I had booked a "river view" room there was no river in sight. The hotel has modules and cottages on the perimeter. My room looked out on a manmade water feature and the Sacramento River is on the outskirts of the property with no real "view" by any units. My room was very dark even with lights on! There is no continental breakfast. I wouldn't stay there again as there was nothing special or interesting about the place.
