Poor ManagementPosted Oct 31, 2015
This was truly one of the most frustrating hotel stay experiences that I have ever had. I made my hotel reservations during the summer for this fall stay so that I could insure that I would have the exact location and room preferences that I needed for a traveling mother and a teenage son. After completing my check in process the desk clerk hands me the room keys and says "Oh, by the way....we have changed you into a room with a King Size bed." I had booked a room with two double beds. I told her that was not what I had asked for and it was not appropriate for a teenage boy and his mother to be sleeping in the same bed. So she says, "Well, the manager says to give you a rollaway bed or we can just refund your money and you can go somewhere else and here is a price list for other hotels in the area." She also mentioned that after I had made my reservations they had accepted three large multiple room parties and that the manager felt it was more important to give them the rooms that they requested and inconvenience me and several other parties by changing our rooms with no notice. Due to the event that we were attending and the time-frame and knowing all hotels were going to be likewise filled, I was forced to accept the room with a rollaway bed. The room received the rollaway bed that was not fully made and had no pillows. I made multiple phone calls to housekeeping/front desk to request these items over a two hour period. We just gave up. Done.

The hotel was good. However, my reservation was messed up. I booked through hotels.com and received confirmation for a room with two double beds, but upon arrival I was given a king bed. The hotel said the information they got said I requested a king bed. I showed them my confirmation email disputing that, but no other rooms were available at that time so I was stuck with the king bed or nothing. The pillows were uncomfortable.

Employees are top notch!Posted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
Dropping off daughter at Anderson University -- we only stayed one night but the management & employees were so very kind & helpful. Our smoke alarm went off for no reason and the manager was up to our 3rd floor room to help out extremely quick! Beds were really clean & fresh, but not super comfy.

Very nice room, great staffPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The amenities in our room and the breakfast
Cons: Longer pool hours
We requested a smoking room and once we aired it out, it was great. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The staff was great and recommend great restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was far above what I was expecting.
