5/5 Excellent
"Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast provided is more than expected and far superior to US Holiday Inns."
A verified traveler stayed at Holiday Inn Southampton, an IHG Hotel
"Reception was quick, easy and welcoming. The room I had was freshly painted and had new carpet. The furniture was outdated, but perfectly functional and sufficient. As some other reviews have said, the outside noise can be a bit much on the weekends. Obviously that is outside the control of the hotel. The mattress was very squeaky, but I slept well. Cleanliness is important to me and this was just fine. I gave it five overall stars because of the price being as low as it was and for the value received. I would definitely stay here again. “Great spoons“ next-door with inexpensive pints and decent Pub Grub. Was a short Uber ride from the cruise port and two days later a short ride to South Hampton Central train station. Very walkable area with everything you’ll need for your stay. A highlight was the “Southampton walls” of centuries, old history all around you."
"The property is very close to the cruise terminal in an area with shopping and dining options. It’s only a five minute ride from the train station, the hotel is clean and the staff is very helpful."
