Horrible hotel horrible customer service. Paid for a deluxe room I did not get a deluxe room. They refuse to put us in a better room or credit our account!

Jessica, Sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your experience here at The Lodge. Upon reviewing your reservation I see that you were placed in an Alpine room, which is an upgraded room at our property. We did offer you another option, however I show that you decided to stay in the original room. Hopefully you get to come back and give us another opportunity. Sincerely, Joe Kendall Director of Lodging Angel Fire Resort

Very close to the slopes.

Posted Feb 28, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: Close to slopes.
Cons: Update to at least early 1990's, for the price.
Location: Only went to ride.
The Staff on the mountain were great, friendly and helpful, the staff in the hotel at the desk, lacked.

Had a blast, great property, nice amenities, and decent food. Only dislike was the staffing could have been better at the restaurants and that the front desk check in was a little bland.

Out of date, needs a good cleaning.

Posted Feb 21, 2017 on Hotels
The resort is out of date, no automatic doors, which would be nice when carrying all your ski equipment. The ski in ski out does not exist, you have to walk 4 or five flights of stairs with your equipment to get your lift tickets. The resort ski mountain wasn't too bad, they needed to be making snow, but were not and did not have any plans too. The Legends Restaurant bar along with the manager Sean were phenomenal, the service and food they provided were top notch.

Dear Shawn, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. All feedback is taken seriously and shared. Hopefully on you next visit you will be able to take advantage of the shuttle from the lobby to the base area. Many ask about automatic doors, however with our area wildlife we aren't able to have them throughout the property. You may have seen the youtube videos of the bear accessing the Lodge in previous years. There are many factors that go into snowmaking. The primary factor is temperatures. If the nighttime temperatures aren't low enough, for an extended period of time, we can't make snow. I look forward to sharing your feedback with others, including Sean and the Legands team. We do hope that you have another opportunity to visit us in the future. Sincerely, Joe Kendall Director of Lodging Angel Fire Resort

Ski vacation

Posted Feb 12, 2017 on Hotels
Expectations were we would in the hotel not one of the remote AF Corp. Rental condos. We had to walk outside to get to the pool ,hot tub and other hotel amenities. Hotels.com should be more specific in where you will be staying. There are several condos they use some convient some not. Had covered parking, located close to ski hill pick up. There was no bedding or towel change out for 10 days unless you paid $45.

Dear Yungning, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Sorry to read that the unit you stayed in was either having issues with or didn't offer wifi. The Village of Angel Fire is currently working with a local company to extend fiber optic throughout the valley and to the condo's and homes in the area. I do hope that you get another opportunity to come visit us in the future. Sincerely, Joe Kendall Director of Lodging Angel Fire Resort
