Condo in need of updates and professional upkeep.

Posted Sep 6, 2016
The decor was old and furniture looked like it came from second hand store. There was mold in bathtub and bathroom sink did not drain properly. We found mouse droppings on balcony as well as spider webs and spider in bathroom. Not worth what we paid. Would not recommend

Beautiful Setting

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: Quiet (off season), large rooms, extra closet
Cons: Housekeeping will not clean your room if you have any prescription drugs visible in the room (on the desk or nightstand etc.).
Location: Chamber music, hiking, zip line, mountain biking, beautiful drives through canyons in the Rockies.
Great for summer outdoor activities and Music from Angel Fire in August

Comfortable Condo

Posted Aug 25, 2016
Pros: The convenience of a kitchen
Cons: The condo needs some serious updating!
Location: Location was perfect for this area.
This was a nice place to stay. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff was exceptional. The condo does need updating and the kitchen was sparsely furnished but it was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay.

We did not know the hotel did not have A/C on outside rooms. We had to find out the hard way... Hotel needs major updates.

Pros: Setting; décor inside.
Cons: Front desk male 3-11PM clerk needs a little refresher course.
Location: Only used hotel as a base; made day trips each day there. Nothing of interest to us other than scenery; locations great for the Circle and day trips.
Good accommodations; front desk afternoon female clerk was pleasing and informative; 3-llPM male clerk needs help; couldn't answer my question regarding daily maid service, someone needs to 'clue-in' for future guests. Hotel was very pretty, inside and outside; thought it lacked safety for after hours; doors all over open to outside; didn't see key card needed to open them. May have been locked and patrolled, but didn't look secure to me. Didn't purchase food, etc; prices better in local cafes.

Really inconsiderate staff. Disappointing stay.

Posted Jun 6, 2016
Pros: The room was clean. There adequate towels. There was a small coffee maker and refrigerator.
Cons: Many things could have been overlooked if the staff had been attentive, sensitive to handicap needs, and had better customer service training.
There were only two handicap spots in the front of the hotel, although there were about 4-5 "cafe only/20 min" spots right next to them. These were not van accessible. When asked, they said, "well there are 4 more behind the other building and the buildings are connected." Who thought of placing handicap spots (that are also not van accessible) that far away from the main building?I think the staff do not understand the significance of handicap spots. They looked at me as if I was daft and did not offer to allow me to park in the "cafe only" spots (it was closed at night by the way) or to move my room nearer to there other handicap spots in the other building. They just shrugged and said, "guess you'll have to find whatever you can." I am fairly certain that they are not in code with these handicap spots, as per the law, at least two should be van accessible. Most certainly not handicap friendly facility or staff. There were no safes in the room, and no second lock on the door for security when you go to bed. Of course, they have you sign something saying you understand that they aren't responsible for any valuables in your room either. Nice. There was no air-conditioning, unless you count a very small poorly functioning air conditioner. We did better opening the windows. The pool was so chlorinated, it made my eyes water from down the hall, and was terribly dirty. The "free" wifi was atrocious. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you visit angel fire.

Nice resort and beautiful view

Posted Apr 2, 2016
The rooms was spacious and I had a beautiful panoramic view from my room. Swimming pool and jacuzzi/hot tub was updated. The food was great. I wish they stated the dates of offseason on their website., but my family and I enjoyed driving to enchanted circle and hiking . Beautiful surroundings! And very relaxing place.

Spring Break Ski tri[i

Posted Mar 19, 2016
Room was very spacious. Loud refrigerator kept us up at night. Obviously an older hotel room that had been painted and had small renovations made to update it. It was okay, but old doors, old tub/shower unit showed the age. Great location made up for the deficits in the room. No good breakfast option without getting in your car. Small café downstairs offered only "warmed up" pre-made options for breakfast and lunch. No other option on site for breakfast and lunch. Location definitely makes this hotel. Room improvements and better restaurant on site would make the experience better.

Ski trip

I wasn't expecting it to be fancy, but it was a little out dated. The rooms could use a larger fridge and microwave.
