Excellent hotel and staff!!!!

We arrived very late at night and had some problems communicating as we only spoke English. After we got to our rooms the manager, who was very fluent in English, got out of bed and came to our rooms to check on us and help us get settled. The kitchen was closed but he had a cook come in to get us some food and visited with us. The next day he gave us a ride into town and showed us around. The whole staff was very friendly and professional. The bungalows, property, and views are beautiful and clean and the food was excellent! We were only there two nights but I could have stayed there a lot longer. Very peaceful and relaxing! The manager even helped make our stay in Sao Paulo enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will definitely be staying here again if I make it back to Brazil....but for much longer. Thank you Pestana Angra!!

Great value in this property!

The Pestana Angra is a chance to enjoy the incredible beauty of Angra with a view into where the wealthy play outside Rio. The property, although showing its age in spots, also offers an easy elegance matched by its warm staff. This is the perfect add on to a weekend in Rio--for a glimpse of life outside the city. You won't be able to decide whether you want to just sit in your room and soak in the tree canopy or walk down to the many relaxing places on their beach. Take the boat tour to to take pulse of living in Angra. Just be sure to have a driver or a bus service to return to the city (or the airport) or all your inner calm will disappear in driving in Rio traffic.

Pestana Angra - As good as it gets!

This location is among the finest and most relaxing we've experienced anywhere! Private! Beautiful! Incredible views! Fabulous Restaurant and Service! No need to do anything but relax! There can be no doubt that Pestana Angra will be on our list of "must return to" when we are again in Brazil! Fabulous!!!

EXPENSIVE!!! VERY VERY EXPENSIVE

Hi recently stayed there very beautiful place. Good- Clean Beautiful view. Good holiday Bad Parts - Very very expensive!!!! Be warned Buffet for 1 person complete ripp off at R$160 per person Water very small bottle for R$7.90 Just be prepared to spend alot while staying there

Falam que o hotel esta para fechar !

Como acham que eh passar um final de semana (Pestana Angra) com serviços péssimos, visão de abandono e todas as desculpas dos funcionários eram: desculpa, mas o hotel vai fechar no final do mês. Posso listar alguns pontos que podem julgar se Pestana tem esse padrão. 1 - Nunca ninguém no bar 2 - Banheiro do restaurante com as luzes desligadas o final de semana inteiro e ninguém conseguiu ligar 3 - Toalhas nao disponibilizadas na piscina e na praia ... tinha que pegar na recepção, local muito longe dos 2 lugares 4 - Cardápio de jantar que se repete na sexta e sábado ... alem da sobremesa ser sorvete tipo kibon ou um dedo de pudim de leite. 5 - Piscina nao cheia totalmente e suja 6 - Cadeiras da piscina sujas 7 - Falta de manutencao no deck 8 - Jacuzzi do quarto sem uma coberta. Como fica na proximidade de arvores, tive que investir um bom tempo na limpeza 9 - O prato kids nao poderia ser servido no domingo, pois tinha acabado a massa 10 - cafe da manha - que paes sao aqueles ... o mel, nao tinha um sache que nao estivesse pedrificado e por ai vai. No domingo tomei cafe na cidade. ... e mais inumeros detalhes. Vale a pena dirigir ate Angra para passar 2 dias assim > Ate o rapaz do aluguel do barco disse que o hotel estava fechando. Se esta fechando, fechem logo. Att.
