Great stay at the Fisherman's Tavern
Very comfortable stay, with great check-in and check-out times. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom :) Breakfasts and evening meals good value and very tasty. Helpful and pleasant staff. I can't wait to go back.

Fisherman’s is a stones throw to the Tay. So you’re right on the water. It’s a cozy, cute hotel with good food and drinks just downstairs. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and plenty of hot water. You won’t regret staying!

Excellent Hotel with Great Service, Friendly Staff
We were extremely delighted and happy with our twin room at the Fisherman's Tavern Hotel in Broughty Ferry recently. The room was exceptionally clean, modern and beds were comfortable. The customer service was exceptional from all the staff who gave us a warm welcome from the day of arrival until the morning we left. Despite not requesting any room service over the two day trip, the housekeeper asked us politely if we needed anything for our room so we asked for more towels, toilet rolls, teabags, milk, sugar and bin liner bags which he gave us immediately. The dining room staff went out of their way to reserve us a table for dinner after we arrived at 5 pm even though we never booked it in advance on one of the busiest nights (Saturday). Usually you have to book a table at least 2 hours before the planned meal. We really enjoyed the food and great friendly service. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again for our next visit to the area.

A small hotel close to the sea in the little town of Broughty Ferry.. Personal service and pleasant check in.. The room was tidy and clean and pleasantly decorated.. Unfortunately our bathroom had some issues but we were able to change rooms.. We didn't have breakfast here as they had an issue opening up the breakfast service so we went elsewhere.. The food and bar is very warm and friendly with a good choice of fayre.. The parking is on street but finding a space was easy and with no ticket to buy... I would definitely recommend this hotel..

This was the last stop in our cycle trip after completing the Fife Coastal Path route. We were offered a secure area to park our bikes. The staff were super helpful; offering to dry our wet clothes. It’s convenient for the waterfront, shops and rail station. Would definitely return.

Good place to stay. Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was comfortable and spacious. There was some noise from beer barrels getting dragged about and bottles being disposed of. It wasn't a deal breaker though and overall I would recommend the property. The establishment serves lovely food at reasonable prices and has a well stocked bar for wine, beer and spirits. Cocktail and beer promotion Monday to Thursday. The position is very convenient and easy to find and only a short stroll from the town and a few steps to the waterfront. Broughty Ferry itself is a great town to visit. It is a thriving town with a big variety of independent shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. We spent 4 days in the town and there was plenty to do. Lots of walking opportunities too and a visit to Dundee City, and the V&A, was easy and inexpensive on the train. I would definitely recommend the Fishermans Tavern for a stay in Broighty Ferry and for its food and very friendly staff

We have stayed at the Fisherman's on several occasions and every time, we find the staff from management down, to be very friendly and welcoming and nothing is a problem. Breakfast in the mornings and an evening meal is worth it.

Fishermans not quite what i expected.
The Fisherman's Tavern is a great place to stay whether on holiday or business in the Dundee area the pub is very friendly and the food good. i have stayed there before, however this time i found the room a bit tired although generally clean the carpet was quite dirty. I was a single man on business and was given a disabled room with two single beds which although i didn't complain it wasn't what i booked or quite expected. Twice i have stayed there i may look elsewhere the next time i visit Dundee.
