Dirty, disappointing- bad smells in the hallway

This was a disappointing experience and I will never stay here again. This has also effected my view of staying at any Extebded Stay in the future. I will stick to Residence Inns.

Got bumped by Expedia to this hotel. Not good.

Pros: Convenient location near highway.
Cons: Room cleanliness, bathroom/bathtub cleanliness, better linens.
Location: Good proximity to highway, and not far from town.
Expedia bumped my two-room with two-beds per room reservation to this hotel. There were four of us and consequently two in each room had to sleep on the floor since they did not have any cots, or any extra rooms. This complaint is really directed at Expedia, but this hotel in particular was not clean and thought the staff provided extra linens for a make-shift floor cot, the check-in staff told us that they clean every 8 days and the rooms looked it. Fortunately, we were only there for one night. This is a low-frills hotel, so it might fight the budget-conscious who have a high tolerance for lower-grade accommodations.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations through the walls. You can also hear the action taking place at 1:00 am!

No maid service the kitchen was never mop wheni spilled water and wiped it up the towel was black.

Rough folks

Lots of seedy individuals around. Always someone sitting outside on the stairs smoking or in their car on their cell phone, sort of scary.

Falling apart, but otherwise fine.

The room was OK in terms of comfort of the bed and cleanliness, but it was in some disrepair. When I went to hang up the hand towel after washing my hands, the curtain rod just fell off onto the floor. When I went to open a drawer to unpack some clothes, instead of the drawer opening, the whole face of the drawer came off when I pulled on the handle. It was all just shabby and shoddy.

Horrible Smells in the halls of Extended Stay

This hotel is in a decent location, however, our hallway litterally smells like death. When we arrived the smell was so strong we thought about canceling. We got an upgrade and our room is ok, but 3 days into the stay and the hallway still smells awful. The location is convenient to what we are doing and we are not in our room much, but this is awful and leaves a terrible impression and it does not seem the hotel is able or willing to do anything about this. Otherwise this is a no frills hotel, but I cannot recommend it.
