They didn’t have the room we reserved. No linens for the pull out couch and had to wait an hour for those. Blinds very poor and let in light very early. Just not a good experience

I’ve stayed here before. But this trip: Handicapped room was farthest from elevator and only one elevator was working. Desk chair was broken. All electrical outlets allowed plug to fall out. Couldn’t control temp in our room. TV was tiny and bad picture. Just sheet was too cold, blanket was too hot. Bed was tucked in too tight. Shower seat was broken. Pop machine wouldn’t read my card for purchase. Drywall dust on floor. The experience sucked.

Property is failing. Elevator out and key swipe wouldn't open room door. Not to mention abandoned Applebee's attached to hotel gives whole experience a sketchy vibe. Staff kept the joint clean though.

The only reason it is getting any stars is because the staff was very sweet. I DO NOT recommend this hotel and will NOT stay here again! Apparently when too many people take a shower they run out of hot water! I had ZERO hot water at 8:30 am when I needed to leave at 9:30. Also there’s a huge draft by the windows and the room was freezing. This hotel is noisy and you hear conversations from next door. It was cheap but I’d rather pay double than stay here again.

There was no heat in the rooms so they had these big black things forcing heat in they have all the doors open to get the rooms hot wasn't pleased my husband was having surgery at U of M the next day that's why we booked a hotel the weather was going to be bad...very disappointed

Surprisingly Bad Stay
This was a surprisingly bad stay at a usual solid chain. Do not let the pictures sway you, these rooms are not only small but overcrowded and poorly laid out. The catty corner bathroom was almost impossible to use for my partner and when we asked if there were any different layout options, the front desk clerk was rude and our key cards mysteriously didn't work later. The phone at the back door was literally in 3 pieces and falling off the wall. There was a large and rowdy group of parents that camped in the lobby, taking it over and being so loud and disruptive that the night clerk (who was much more helpful than the clerk at checkin) had to call the police. I'm sure we weren't the only noise complaint even from the 2nd floor.

I was very happy. The room was very comfortable. I liked the bedding, the bathroom, the layout of the room. The breakfast was good; every day they had different eggs and meat. I would definitely stay there again.

I always stay here when visiting my son at University of Michigan. The staff are welcoming and responsive, and the rooms are always clean - they've also upgraded their toiletries so I don't feel the need to pack my own shampoo, conditioner or body wash. My only complaints are location - it feels very dark and deserted in the immediate vicinity and some of the areas in the hotel feel run-down. They've been operating with only one elevator for well over a year now, which is also strange. But, I can't complain about the overall value - it's consistently one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the area.

Everything was so terrific. The desk staff, Anna and Jarret treated us with smiles and they are very efficient to make sure we were very happy and satified with our room Anna so graciously let us check in early because of my daughters appointments at U of M. We are very grateful for that. The breakfast tasred so good. Everything was fresh and a good variety to choose from. The room was very clean and the beds and pillows, so comfortable. Thanks for a great stay. We felt so special.
