Fine but rude off-putting question from front desk

Totally fine stay but when checking in, there is nothing more rude and offputting and unwelcoming than, upon check-in the front desk asks "...and what time will you be checking out?" It's like I'm not even in the room yet and they are wondering how soon I'm getting the hell out?!? Horrible policy... I honestly didn't have an answer except, "well what time IS check out?" Whereupon he stated between 11 and 12 o'clock... "Well then, uh... between 11 and 12 o'clock!" Jeezus Cripes!!

Dear recent guest; I am so sorry that you were offended by our front desk associates departure question. We actually ask this question for the benefit of our guests. If we know what time you will be checking out we will prevent housekeeping form coming to your room before your scheduled departure time and allow them to work on the early departures first. Beautiful hotel, staff and close to varies things

Pros: The room and location in the city
Location: Briarwood mall and we were there for the Art Fair
I stayed three days and enjoy each day. The hotel is clean, quiet and has excellent service.

Nice hotel but away from campus

The room was clean, parking was convenient, good coffee maker in the room and refrigerator. Beds were very comfortable withgreat quilts.

Hotel was old and run down. There were empty soda cans and dirty dishes on the tables in the hallway. My television didn't work; the a/c gave off an odor as if something was burning and there was someone else's wash cloth in the shower. I chose not to shower until I got home.

So-So

Front desk at check in wasn't attentive and wanted me to carry a gift basket of pop and popcorn to my room with my luggage. The room was at the elevator and the wedding party that was staying at the hotel was loud and drunk and we even got an accidental knock on the door at 1am from a drunk guest. It could help to consider placing non wedding guests in quieter corners of the hotel. The night front desk staff was awesome - very friendly and helpful and 600xs better customer service than the day crew.

Better than no room at all

For a busy weekend they seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. A lot fell through the cracks.
