Immaculate, branch new rooms and great location!Posted May 14, 2015 on Hotels
Great! Front desk staff extremely cordial and friendly. Breakfast was tasty (wondering if it could be a touch longer in hours like to 9:30 during the week and 10:00 am on the weekend?) Rooms were kept immaculately-hard to communicate with the unfriendly housekeeping staff -even w/ a language barrier- they had scowls on faces and didn't even attempt communication. The bed was so comfortable! Hotel conveniently located near mall, restaurants and colleges (we were in for grad).

Not that much of an upgrade.Posted Apr 14, 2015
We stayed 4 nights. We had been staying in Best Western when we were in Annapolis and we wanted to upgrade. But we didn't feel that it was much of an upgrade. We were given a handicapped room which was in some ways inconvenient. We got back from our activities the second night and found that housekeeping had taken away our cups. We had a coffee maker but no cups. The free breakfast was all right but not very different from Best Western. The breakfast room was set on Fox News which was reason enough for us not to stop there again. And in the small breakfast room it was very hard to avoid at least hearing the TV. There was no bran cereal. The bed was very comfortable but all rooms had queens and no kings. The desk staff was very friendly and other staff were okay.

Greetings, Dale! Thank you so much for choosing to "upgrade" to the Residence Inn - Annapolis. I am thrilled that you chose our hotel, however myself and the entire team here are disappointed that you were not satisfied with your stay. We strive to provide the utmost in Customer Service and do not take it lightly when a guest states they were unhappy. I am so sorry that your cups were taken away and that the channel setting in our breakfast area was not of your preference. I will discuss all of these matters with the team here and ensure we make the appropriate changes. Once again and on behalf of the entire staff at the Residence Inn - Annapolis, our sincerest apologies.

Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay. It was nice having a kitchen for an extended stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was overall clean, except for a few old stains on the carpet. There is a nice area to grill and hang out by the main house and the gym was simple but had what I needed. Hot breakfast was a huge plus!

Great for traveling with petsPosted Jul 2, 2014 on Hotels
This is a great place to stay with multiple pets while traveling in Annapolis. The spacious suites provide plenty of room for pets to play and spread out, and unlike other hotels, they didn't put us in their worst room just because we were traveling with pets. Everything was spotless! If you are traveling with a cat, just remember to shut the flue in your fireplace! Only con is that the pool is very small and shallow, but we preferred to spend time on the river/bay anyway. Location is close to Target, restaurants, and shopping malls. Easy drive to downtown Annapolis.
