The experience was great! The hotel is perfectly located and offers amazing food and services. The staff was very kind and helpful, the lady at the front desk named Madeleine was especially attentive and gave great customer service.

Excellent for the price/brand
For the price and the brand excellent. Good room, reasonable bed, good shower, air conditioning in the room, reasonable breakfast. For the price very good. The room had a few extras, like the cushioned bench; not quite a sofa but better than you would expect for the price/brand. Overall can’t fault for the price.

A short break
This was our 6th or maybe 7th time visiting Ibis Sint Niklaas. As usual it was clean and tidy throughout. We were arriving very late (or early) at just after midnight, the check in was just the same as when we've arrived in the mid afternoon. We stayed 5 nights, and the only problem we had was with a broken door lock. Whilst frustrating, these things do happen, the staff did the processes to get the lock open and a technician fitted a new lock the next morning. This hotel is very convenient for the town centre. There is lots of construction planned for the market Square so it may get a bit noisy now and again. All said we would stay again no problem, overall the staff are friendly and professional. If there was one criticism it would be that it seems there are different staff everyday.

This Hotel was very pleasant, warm and friendly; ideal for short stays. The Rooms were clean and comfortable. However there was one absolutely disgusting and horrid issue for such a nice Hotel.... the TOWELS were like Rough pieces of unusable bits of RAGS!!!!! They were so thin you could see through them and each Customer was only given one Towel that was so small it barely dried one arm. This Hotel desparately needs to invest in brand new thick Egyptian cotton Towels, which each Customer should be given One Hand Towel, One Bath Towel and one Bath/Shower sheet. All Bathrooms should also have proper decent mats to step on when exiting the shower, NOT stupid tiny towels. Quite frankly, using the lump of Rag provided as a Towel made me sick. The only other issue of complaint I have that would greatly improve the Rooms is for Tea & Coffee making facilities to be placed in all Rooms.

Yet another stay in Ibis Sint Niklaas. We go to visit friends and relax. Ibis hotel is ideal for that. The staff whilst attentive leave you do your thing. First night on this trip we arrived on a public holiday, so we weren't sure if any of the local restaurants would be open, when my wife told them it was our 20th anniversary so it was a bit special, the young man on duty helped book us a table at a nearby Italian place. Overall this hotel is clean and tidy, it can be a bit busy at times but generally it's a quiet haven just off the main square.

Gleaming and friendly place
Had a very pleasant stay here. Location is very good; about 10 min. walk from the rail station, and just a stone's throw from the Grotemarkt which is the centre of town. Also very easy access to the high street (Stationstraat) for shopping. The property looks quite new, everything is sparkling clean and vibrant. The room is a smidge small for two (it was just fine for one); the bathroom is fairly tiny. Breakfast was delicious and service was impeccable: all staff were fluent in English, I had no problems whatsoever.

Clean & comfortable hotel, but expensive breakfast
We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years it has been open and with the Ibis hotels you what you are getting, a clean comfortable hotel with no frills. The room was again clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. This year was the first time we didn't have breakfast at €15 per person we considered that too expensive for what we required. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

Our home away from home
Only bad thing about the stay this time was one day it was very warm in our room, our fault as the air con was not switched on. Very good location easy walk to car park ( under the market square) . Enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening with a liquid refreshment or two.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Grote Markt. This is a typical Ibis, clean and convenient. They have a 24hr food service. The rooms are a good size with ensuite bathrooms with showers. Although we went in March, I would recommend this as a really convenient hotel if you were going to the Christmas markets. Although the hotel does not have adjacent parking you can park in the car parking underneath the Grote Markt and the hotel provides a discounted rate.

Good quality for money

Finding the hotel is easy enough but you have to really park in the town centre underground which was difficult to get to if you don't know the area also it's around €4 for parking overnight Late night staff are friendly but they cover the bar and reception which can leave you waiting for service

We have visited this hotel since its opening and we are pleased to say that a good standard has been maintained. You know what you are going to get with the Ibis chain of hotels. This hotel is kept clean both in the rooms and the general areas. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied. As mentioned all the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Would recommend and visit this hotel again.

Brilliant staff
I and my family arrived on the evening of Thursday 13th August. We were staying for four days while my son took part in the Dodentocht marathon walk on Friday and Saturday. On our arrival we booked in with the receptionist Cansu and then went to explore the town and to find a restaurant. While we were out the weather changed very dramatically and we were caught without coats in a very heavy thunderstorm. We were so wet that we had to return to the hotel. When we arrived back the receptionist and her colleague saw the condition we were in and once we had dried and changed our clothes they worked hard to ensure that we had hot food and drinks as quickly as possible. Throughout the rest of the stay all of the staff were pleasant and helpful but the receptionist really did make us feel welcome whenever she saw us. Some people may say that this is all part of their job but I have stayed in many hotels and without doubt these were two of the most friendly and helpful staff that I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Great pet-friendly hotel
Fantastic hotel. Car park is a short walk away but fully covered (underground) and plenty of space. Hotel takes pets for a small fee, which was our main reason for staying there. Will definitely be back!
